Thread: Transport channel

PLEASE NOTE: I've had to drop from this channel, due to Turbine's restrictions on the maximum number of userchannels allowed. Feel free to still join, but I'm no longer personally on it.

Hi everyone

I started a User Chat channel on Snowbourn, called Transport

Hoping that as many Captains and Hunters join the channel, if they wish to be available for providing summoning/porting services when they can. I'm aware that there's GlobalLFF but unfortunately a lot of people don't use that channel, for varying reasons. So far the response from most people has been great - over 50 players have joined the channel already within the first hour!

If you think this is a nice idea, or if you just want to have a convenient place to go to when you need a summon or port somewhere, please consider joining the channel and inviting your friends and Kin to do the same! The more users, the more useful it is - please help make this a solid and decent 'service'

If this is your first time setting up a User Chat channel, please follow these simple steps:

1. Type: /joinchannel Transport
2. The General chat tab should display a message like "You joined room 'Transport' (UserChat1). Number of members: 42." Take note if it says 'UserChat2' or another number - that means you already have at least one custom channel set up.
3. Right-click on the tab that you want the Transport channel to show up in, select "Change Filters" and make sure that whichever channel number it was saved under (default is User Chat 1 ofc) has been ticked, so messages posted in Transport will display in that tab.
4. Use /1 (followed by space) to talk in the channel, just like you'd use /f for Fellowship or /k for Kinship chat (use /2, /3, /4 if you got a different response in step 2)

Try to advertise on GlobalLFF
You'll get more people

Are buffs and IDOME thrown in too?

All we need now is the ability to have more than 4 chat channels, and a bigger ignore list so GlobalLFF doesn't make me want to throw things... oh, and a quicker summon... oh, and hobbit champions! Blendic Shingo is waiting...

LOL - I never mind throwing buffs, so if I have time I'll buff whoever wants it, ofc. Always running around buffing people left and right anyway

There used to be/is a taxi channel on snowbourn, that never got used, i hope this one will.

I'm afraid I've had to give up this channel because of Turbine's restrictions on maximum allowed number of userchannels. Unfortunately there are now 4 channels that are more important to me, being an officer of my kin. As stated in the updated OP: please feel free to still join it, I just wanted to note that I'm no longer personally on it. The day they allow for more userchannels is the day I'll re-enable it
