Baruk Khazad is looking for new members. Originally an all-dwarf kin, we are now open to any race and class. We're primarily a casual, social kinship, but we have a few endgame raiders as well, and run instances at all levels. We hold semi-regular impromptu mini-events from time to time - everyone is invited to attend and behold (or take part in) the spectacle. If you're looking for a fun, mostly-casual group, come met us at one of the events, find one of our officers or sign up on our website: http://axesofthedwarves.guildlaunch.com
If you haven't already seen him there, Baruk Khazad's chief recruiter, Capngunk, hangs out a lot in Bree-town buffing everyone who runs near, patrolling the streets or carousing in the Prancing Pony.

Well put I ran across Gunkydoc in a similar fashion many years ago and haven't looked back. I really appreciate the tone of the kin and the mutual respect exemplified in kin chat. I do understand that there are a myriad of quality kins. That being said, this hobbit would not be anywhere else but in Baruk Khazad If Capngunk takes a few minutes to sleep, one of our many officers would be more than willing to help you or answer any questions you have about the kin.
Truth be told, I never wanted to play (at first) any of the MMO's Errare talked me into playing, until I started playing them. Once we started Lotro, I was sure I didn't want a kin/guild or anything else, until Errare talked me into joining Baruk Khazad. For a person who speaks in game very little (I'm Silentia for a reason), I must agree that I couldn't be more pleased that I joined this kin. They are some classy folks enjoying playing a great game together.
