Thread: Gold ore

What is the fastest way to mine gold ore? I play free to play and have only the angmar QP, lvl 37 now, so questing in some areas won't work :P....

Evendim seems to be a good place to farm gold ore. When you go closer to the Giants on the hill there seems to be quite a bit.

Lone Lands has some too but It's not as good as Evendim.

N-E of Esteldin in the North-Downs has quite a few nodes too.

And always pick all ore nodes you find, not only the gold ones. They share spawnpoints, so if you cherrypick, you will get less and less over time.

Know, need iron Ore too, but i've plenty of Iron found in the LL....

lone-lands, kingsfell area of esteldin, most of evendim around ost forod, tinnudir, and just across the lake near the elf boat master.

i also agree to mine ALL the ore, not just the gold nodes. whatever you don't need, you can always find a buyer in the AH.

Don't want to spend those 95 TP for such a silly thing as the AH, don't need it with the current currency cap....

alright, so you don't want to spend the TP to gain access to the AH or remove your gold cap. in that case, since you belong to a kinship, just give it to those people in your kin that need it; don't simply vend it. :shrug:

Or save it for an alt...u should have your vault, which you can expand with in game currency, not just TP

Not for sell at the AH, for my friend (weaponsmith) :P All other ores are indeed saved at my vault!

The 5 AH slots and currency cap is account wide, so it's worth getting. Especially when you want to enter moria you'll really want a goat and the easiest one (only really viable one) is from thorins hall and costs over 5g.

But even if that doesn't sway you, you can always barter it in the trade channel. X iron for Y gold, going by my servers vendor v AH prices you could give 6-1 and still be better off.

I sometimes want to react on an offer too, but can't pay people, cause i play for free. Also any ideas for that thing?

I'd suggest some kind of bartering. If you're buying mats from someone you can pay with other materials that you can gather, or that you've gotten in drops. Or just stacks of trash drops worth the ammount the seller is asking for.
