I have an issue at the moment with viewing of some of my characters on myLOTRO, confined to the Laurelin server.
I have 10 characters on this server, none of which display correctly, and 3 of which are missing entirely.
The error I get on attempting to view them is: "Error: No detailed information available. Either this character has not logged in recently or has recently been created. ". This is incorrect, as I've logged in to most, if not all of them since I migrated, and they are all there, with the correct information.
Is this a known issue? If not, I hope this can be fixed. the names of the characters in question are: Durthand, Alagosel, Ellendur, Bragnaer, Tathardor, Tauveril, Lothlaer, Gaelgil, Varaconn and Misnen.
First only your char names of your chars on the server show up,
but all have unknown race and don´t show any stats (no matter whether you logged in recently or not)
then, one after the other (and, as it seems, starting with the lowest level one, going upwards) of your chars display the correct values (and start to get log entries from doing things upon logging in). This may take 1 day or more (from the timt the first char gets correctly displayed to the time all chars do)
maybe they have just taken it down for the moment to try to sort the characters unknown issues?

Whenever I click "My Preferences" I just get an error message
So yeah, there's worse problems then characters not loading :P
Same thing when I try to edit character preferences, but all my character are there if I use "my.lotro.com/home/character/server/name".
There seems to be load of issues with my.lotro at the moment, but they only occur if I'm logged in. For example, when I'm logged in I can't even view our Kinship page (chrome reports a redirect loop, doesn't work in other browsers either), but when I log out I can see it fine.
It's very broken at the moment and does seem to relate to the character imports.
For some time now, instead of the home page, I get
Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience.
And I get the same if I try to drill down and look at any of my characters - which are now all apparently present, if not properly updated.
If I click on "My Blog", I get the "The page isn't redirecting properly" error that a lot of other people are reporting.
We're just going to have to try to be patient whilst Turbine sorts it all out. Hard, I know when a major selling point for the migration was to get the MyLotro services.
Main: Tirnolwe of The Lost Companions, Laurelin (75LM)
Alts: Silithil (75CHP) Campion (75GRD) Alunadail (75MIN) Geirdis (75CP) Turbine no plans to fix MyLotro.
I can see all my characters on Evernight, these are characters I have not used in over a year. But my characters on Snowbourn that I use everyday is nowhere to be found.
I think it's because they still run slow servers for this forum and with the european players coming to this forum there is overload and things get broken...
Today finally appeared my main char in my chars, and i see signature works (at least in preview). Only mistake is level for scholar, must be 6/4, not 3/3, but i dont care at this moment.
Right now all my characters appear (in the character widget on the home page) but I get the same errors that the other people in this thread reported.
Same here
Characters appear in the widget, they appear in forum signature stuff but when trying to access any settings it'll give me errors. (also, the direct link trick posted in this thread does not work for me)
All I can see from Morthond are some long forgotten creeps. No entries for my characters there - on both of my accounts (one is my old US test account the other a migrated European account).

None of my chars on Snowbourn are visible yet, but the ones I have on Eldar(which I forgot about some years ago), Laurelin(which I used for class testing) and Elendilmir show up. I've been playing on every Snowbourn char since migration.
Hopefully, they'll be up there soon!

On Snowbourne, three of my chars have been shown for a couple of weeks now, but as unknown class. My other three haven't been picked up yet. I've logged them all in a couple of times since, but no change.
On the other servers, all my chars are present and correct.
I got all my characters showing in MyLotro , but these belonging to kinships give an error message when i try to access detailed info about them. Laurelin server.
Making forum signature works for any char.
Thank you, Turbine, for listening and giving us an opt-out of FE! Good work!
It looks, like update is currently stopped. Last update (on EU and NA servers) was on 19th.
The reason for the error message might be a missing (not yet updated) kinship in mylotro. When i try to create a forum signature for my characters, the kinship is missing in the generated graphic (see below).
All Characters not in that kinship are display fine.
I get that error when viewing my own profile, i also get it when trying to view other people's profiles, even non-EU players. Perhaps there's more to this then just a migration issue.

The widget does seem to work on "Home". When you go to the leaderboards and filter on some EU servers it would appear that a lot of EU kinships are not listed / transferred. Also when checking the data xml feeds via a roster script it would appear that a lot of info is either incorrect or completely missing (kins, chars, etc etc). The Prophets for example are not in the xml fields or listed as kinship/tribe with kin members.
It's actually totally random, as I can view some players from Evernight but not all (including my own).
I have no problem with Turbine having problems with EU servers and mylotro, it's a big complicated job, but I do have a big problem with the almost total communication silence that seems to surround Turbine at the moment.
Questions about mylotro.... silence
Questions about payment issues (subs/TP/isengard pre-purchase).... silence
Questions about any features in Isengard..... silence
Shouldn't the run up to a new expansion be a time for extra customer communication, not total silence....

July being traditionnally a holidays month => forums more silent than the rest of the year and part of the crew missing
Gamescom (Germany) and PAX East in a few weeks => not much new information on the upcoming expansion until then (or just before) (after all, it has always been like that: blackout until a few days before)
Semi-public Beta heading up in a couple of days => people busy choosing the happy few that will start off the Beta
It explains fairly good the lack of information...
BTW, I also wait for information about my.lotro and Isengard...
It's almost two months since the migration, and almost a month since my.lotro was to start working. Is it ever going to be fixed?
Since there is completely no info on the progress, I wonder if it's not the case, that people stopped grumbling about it, so there's no need to fix it.
Therefore I give you a motivational grumble: I check my.lotro almost every day hoping something has changed, and I would really like to know if someone is even working on this. When can I expect it to work: in days? months? this year maybe?

Even before the migration MyLotro never worked correctly. That is why the web services all have the big Beta logo on it. Since June 1, we had the following additional problems:
1) A second data format for the EU servers
2) Even more load on marginal infrastructure
3) A huge backlog in exports.
It will get better over time. As to whether it will ever get back to the partial functionality we had prior to migration - No idea. Even before migration, the exports would stop working. It would take a week or two before they get turned back on.
It does not appear to be a Turbine goal to have consistent, reliable, accurate and full coverage of all stats for all characters. It seems like the goal is to get 90% of the data, for 90% of the characters, 90% of the time. They have not been achieving 90% of the time unless it was very early in 2011.
Unless stated otherwise, all content in this post is My Personal Opinion.
I'm no dev or something, but i think this is the problem:
Every character got it's own ID number.
With the migration most of the EU characters got the same ID number as the US characters and thus bugging them. (also when you look at some Character Details from the Leaderboards you will be redirected to another character, which might indicate they use the same ID number)
So i doubt they will fix this with a patch, most likely this needs to be done manualy if im correct :P
It's a good thing I read this topic. I had no idea what was going on and thought the problem was with my account solely. I couldn't understand why none of my characters (in Snowbourn) show up, except 2 low lvl chars I created years ago.
It would be nice to see this fixed in the near future.
I can log into mylotro perfectly fine and see my characters, however these are mostly limited to other servers that I trialed back in beta but found them to be quiet compared with Snowbourn. I can also see three monster characters (whereas I have 5) from the Snowbourn server, but stil no main characters and I'm on the game nearly every night jumping between all 7 of my characters (hunter - main, lore-master, guardian, captain, burglar, warden and minstrel) but nothing is showing up in mylotro. I know a couple of people have got their characters up, and apparently it would be a "short" while before characters started to filter in as you play them, however I have had the current view for over a month now and I have not played any of the freeps listed in years or the creeps in months but they are there.
I understand that every migration, merger, take over etc comes with issues as far as computer data goes, but usually you are made aware of the issues and are kept informed and reassued that it is being looked into. Yet we are still awaiting a response from Turbine to let us know they are actually looking into it at the moment and that they have taken our comments on board
