Same thing happens to me all the time though. Most creeps either add an extra R to my name (Merrimell) or only use one L (Merimel).

It would be pretty awesome if they ever decided to make pvp instances with a queue. Players could choose what size battle they would like to be a part of and have objectives. Could be set up in a window just like the classic instances and skirmishes are. Open world pvp is always fun but instances with even numbered teams would be a great alternative option.

I'm sure they must be in some stage of additions to the pvp aspect of the game. Once they release Isen in September maybe we will see some really cool new things.

I'd be happy with another map and the return of Hot Spots. Instanced or dynamically layered pvp doesn't really appeal to me. Part of the thrill of entering the Ettenmoors is not knowing if a zerg is just around the corner. Or, a zerg and a warg pack. Or, a zerg, a warg pack and tvt. Or a zerg, a warg pack, tvt, and a 10 boxer.

For most creeps yes.

Edit: That rule applies for most fights. If it is a close fight also I will respect creeps say if they get me down to lower than 1k health.

First off I don't hate anyone in this game whoever does needs to get a life and stop taking this game to serious.With that said this a typical freep goggle statement Lotro wasn't designed for fair 1v1s.Any class below r5 has almost no options in a spar and BA's and WLs have very little chance.

More freeps should try creepside and they would know how weak a lowbie creep is or how some classes just can't 1v1.Or how lowbie classes group up always they have too to kill anything.My reaver loves a good 1v1 but my WL hates them.As of now all freep classes can 1v1 even hunters/capys which is the hardest do well now.

For all yall that live and die for 1v1s a true test of skill is 2 mirrored classes with equal skill sets so nothing but skill separates the 2 combatants.Lotro just doesn't have this personally I love that fact that the 2 sides isn't mirrored its rare in a mmo.To judge all creeps just by their 1v1s is just unfair sure a few classes do well with rank and some skill but the other 80% don't.

Agreed with Ziras. All the blame is not Voas. Imo PvP has been at a low for some time now, before Voa even starting making groups out here.

Well its obviously just my opinion but my reasoning for only respecting creeps because I know them irl, on freepside, or if they beat me/got close to beating me in a 1v1 is because I don't see anything else that takes as much skill as that. Like, what do you want me to do? Meet you at norbog ramp and you show me how much of a beast you are at kiting those norbogs?And RvR always has 1 side more outnumbered then the other. The BIGGEST test of skill are 1v1s.

No. 1v1's in this game are FAR from balanced in ANY way shape or form.

All classes would need to be totally balanced for 1v1s to mean as much as you claim. Fortunately Turbine has made each class of both sides quite unique.

Playing this game successfully doesn't require skill. There are two kinds of players in this game: Those that know how to play, and those that don't. 98% of players are the latter.
