Actually, I'm writing a song as of current. It's about a rank 11 ba, 2 rank 7 defilers, a rank 4 defiler, and a rank 1 weaver. How they came into the Delving to kill a minstrel and a runekeeper who made one of those rank 7 defilers jump into lava (and got 42 renown). How as they ran down their entrance hallway, they ran right by the runekeeper and minstrel who were not in stealth. How both of them laughed at the creeps and how they stayed and waited to see if they would come back. How then those same two guys managed to run all the way back to the other end of the delving training everything on them and then proceeded to kill all 3 defilers at once. I'm thinking about titling it, "Defiling the Defilers."

am i supposed to be impressed? mighty megus flexing his muscles behind his tactical burst dps god class

your crits really are rare though... I mean... you've only crit on my 17 times today.. and I took ss's of every one!

answering a previous statement.. not sure if it is in this thread or not.. but minstrels are far more survivable than defilers already. You can heal your self on the move with as many skills as the defiler can.. you can flop.. you can bubble.. you have instant HUGE heals.. elf parry... need I go on?

My on the move heals that are HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!

Triumphant Spirit - 15 min cd - the huge high end heal of 2.5k with a possible crit of 4k.
Siloquoy of Spirit - 30 sec cd - the huge high end hot of 80 every 3 seconds
Chord of Salvation - 30 sec cd - the huge high end crit of 3k

Feign Death - 20 minute cooldown
    Buuble - 5 minute cooldown

As much as you don't know about minstrels, you know even less about defilers. No defiler over rank 6 should lose to a tactical based class solo let alone 2 of them plus a third defiler losing to two tacticals with a Nemesis NPC on them.

Just stick to popping pledge to help the healers.

lol after watching that video I bet it takes 30 minutes to do your hair.

and where are you when there are no freeps and a ton of creeps after you get killed 2 times in EC? running the map? nope. we had this convo a few months ago bud. you got killed in ec 2 times and then disappeared for 1 hour. How do know you were out, well the group of people we had out spread out and combed the map for you. no where to be found. When I called you out on it you said you were up by the back door of isen. Well that is 1 spot I know you like to hang out and I checked up there along with the rest of the group. So tell me again where you go?

The backdoor of Isen? I don't want to know what you do with the backdoor of anything. Apparently you need to look harder. So you looked at one spot I like to hang out? Did I tell you I hang out there? I never stay in one place for a long period of time. Funny how I saw your spider out last week at oc, saw it die, and then you were gone the rest of the night. Bet you learned that from your fearless tribe leader.

I would take all those cds over a defilers hots any day... defilers won't lose 1v1... no... but I'm speaking of survivablility in RvR, in which a minstrel is clearly better.

and yes chord of salvation critting for 3k on a 30 sec cd is extremely powerful. your 15 min cd triumphant heals for much higher...

fertile slime heals for around 250 every 10 seconds... lets see here megus 80*3 = 240 points over 9 seconds with SoS. therefore they are practically equal and if you factor in the extra 1 second difference... SoS is better.

fungal spores is twice as powerful as SoS, that can be given... however I would take chord of salvation over fungal spores anyday and only a fool wouldn't.

    play another song for that

wow you didn't read the whole post did you? I looked there b/c I know you have out there from time to time. We roamed the map the entire down looking for you since you "roam the map" when you aren't smashing the creeps.

Yep you did see my spider there I died a few times and yes I then logged for the night b/c unlike you and most people that play I have real life obligations that I need to attend to, so ummm yeah real life comes first for me. Sorry I cant play lotro 24/7 like you and a few others can. I don't rage log, I do however get really tired of a camp of 1 side. So yes if it is completely stupid out there where there are 20 of you and 8 of us inside OC and you guys standing there waiting for us to push into you, I will log. Call it what want, but I have better things to other than sit around and stare at a group of freeps that should be pushing all over the place, but would rather wait til smaller group pushes into them and gives free points, and no I didn't learn that from Rash at all.

oh and way to take something I said and make it completely sexual good job.

    Re: For the New Creeps

While staying out of the Megus v Rash drama (not involved...not involved), I would like to add my input here in regards to the delving.

In regards to when I was solo...I had npcs on me and I saw you guys had npcs on you too. I did charge towards you and actually wanted to fear you, (I saw 2 of you, but didnt know if there were any others), but i kinda lagged and went off the bridge. I know it must of looked like I suicided, but honestly I did want to try and fight. Mainly just because delving fights are so rare and that was obviously going to be a unique situation.

I remarked in tribe chat, after I died, that I fell off bridge and that you guys were going to think I suicided. Honestly, I would love to have fought that fight.

In regards to the second fight, yeah, I messed that one up pretty badly. I'm only going to speak for myself, but yeah, you are right, that was a fight we should have won.

In regards to "No defiler over rank 6 should lose to a tactical based class solo" .
I'm not sure if you are saying they should NEVER lose? I think there are always going to be exceptions based on; skill of the particular player, crits, etc. But I have generally done okay in 1v1s against lms and a few rks. I'm not sure I ever 1v1'd a mini though.

/shrug Drama isnt my thing and I don't have a problem with anyone on Freep or Creep. It's just a game to me and I just like to have fun while playing it.

Does this pertain to you? same question back at you.

and I wasn't really chiming in just letting another creep player know how some people are in case he/she didn't know. Anymore questions for me to answer

lately there has been some quite a few new creeps roaming around the moors and i know many need some help.

I will attempt to give you a quick and as short as possible intro. Now i am not a high level creep and by far not the resident expert in the moors, in fact am only active in the moors for about a year and not a full time creep, but i am sure some others will fill in the blanks, fix my boo boo's etc...

I do have a freep (free people) but tend to creep 95% of the time in the moors as of late.

Before i start here are a few dont's....
    Don't spam, ooc
don't blind invite people to groups and tribes this will get you ignored.
    Don't pounce burgs lol
don't worry you are new you will die allot
don't say over here.... Use the list below and north / west etc and try to be specific this will help locate you if you need help especially
    in a raid situation.

    Do's
get vent (thank you lockdown). Many creeps use it to communicate so even if you solo you can kind of focus on freeps. Sorry i don't have the creep vent info but i am sure someone can post it.
Raids can sometimes be vent only so having vent is a great way to get in on those raids.

Do the intro. It's fast and easy basically running around the garmsfoot area talking to some npc's it should take 5 minuets.

Do learn the lingo... Here is a bit of assistance on that matter. I am covering the basics ones you will learn more as you go on.

What we say= what we are talking about
    --------------- ------------------------------
grams = gramsfoot the creep home base per say.
Gv = glan vraig the freep home base
ta = tol ascarnen (it's the keep in the very center of the map)
ta lawn = the large grassy area in front of ta it wraps west around the keep.
Stab = this the south ta bridge.. The bridge south of the ta keep
wtab = this the bridge west of the ta keep.
Lugz = this is the keep south of gramsfoot called lugazag
dg = dar-gazag south west of lugazag where the relics are kept (don't worry about
what the relics are for now, you'll get there)
op = outpost , there are 5 of them .. Freeps and creeps need to control two of them to get into the
delving (will get to the delving later on)

the names of the 5 out post are ae (aradors end) , isendeep, plains, river and south (google ettenmores map for their location lol)

ly/ lc = is grimwood lumber camp, south of ta
tr = thirit rhaw, this is the central part of the map but all the way east.
Isen/ the mine = is the isendeep mine all the way east of gramsfoot
oc = orc camp (across wtab)
ec = elf camp (across stab)
chode = is the land bridge that allows you to walk across the river between oc and ta
greenie = you! Your basic creep who is rank 3 and below roughly
rez = rez circle so lugz rez and tr rez are the two rez circles

do get your maps, maps, maps.....

It's boring, it's not easy but you need your maps. So loot every troll, and farm everything.. Bears, coldfells, norborgs, hobbits, dwarves, men, elves, fallen logs, saplings, wood, eagles...
I can go on and on.... You need this stuff for your maps..

    What are you maps?
Ok you don't have a horse and you need to get around the map. Creeps get maps. How do i get maps you say ? Good question.

First of all you need to get your 1 minuet map back to gramsfoot. Visit soldier falturz in gramsfoot. He will have the following quest for you to do.
    Get to grothum maggot
    into the grimwood
    to tirith rhaw
    to tol ascarnen
    report to lugazag
    repot to dar-gazag maggot

scout all areas to complete note grothum, dar-gazag and lugz you actually need to talk to an npc ..the other 3 are just scouting...

Ok now you have you 1 minuet map.
Work on you other maps as often as you can. Each keep: Ta, lugz, tr, ly, and isendeep have 3 maps each to get. Each area has a crude map, a poor map and a good map, each putting you in a area around the keeps. You can check you deed log for progress on these maps (i.e. Lugazag travel tier 1 or 2 etc...) after 10 quest for that keep you will get the crude map. Once you get your crude map you will need to do 15 quest to get your poor map. Ok 25 more quest and you have you good map. You will find in raids leaders like to utilize maps to ninja keeps for flanks so if you don't have them you might be left to hoof/ paw it to catch up missing out on dp and infamy.

    Each map has cool-downs
crude maps have a 30m cool-down. If you have 2 or 3 crude maps they are on a shared cool-down. So if you use one the others are on cool down
poor maps have a 10 min cool-down. Same applies here, they are all on a shared cool down so if you use one poor map the others go on cool down
good maps have a 5 min cool-down. They are not shared so you can use good ta map and then use good lugz map right away

i good start is to get your crude ta map which will allow you map into oc.

While trying to do all this do play .. Kill and be killed. Learn your class solo and it's responsibility in raids.

Do, get in a raid when you can. While in a raid the most important thing to do is listen and follow instructions. This will give you the most kills and infamy. Different raid leaders lead in different ways so don't assume you know what you will be doing. If he says target this person do it. If he says push, you push. You will die and hey you might be rezzed... It's all part of the game .. You will learn most classes have their places in raids and the leaders know how to utilize those classes.

Target assist- use it. Open your social panel, click on the raid tab and check the box on the bottom that says target assist. This will put an assist window on the left-ish bottom of your screen.
When in a raid the leader will set up target assistants which will target freeps. You will now be able to just click on the freep on the target assist and start killing it lol

ask for help and you will get it most of the time. Like it here .. Join a tribe and have fun..

A little bump... With some updates.

lately there has been some quite a few new creeps roaming around the moors and i know many need some help.

    Do's
get vent (thank you for all who make Vent available). Many creeps use it to communicate so even if you solo you can kind of focus on freeps.

BEACH = The area below TA lawn west of STAB
STAB = this the south ta bridge.. The bridge south of the ta keep
WTAB = this the bridge west of the ta keep.
Lugz = this is the keep south of gramsfoot called lugazag
    EC = Elf Camp
    LY = Lumber Yard
DG = dar-gazag south west of lugazag where the relics are kept (don't worry about
what the relics are for now, you'll get there)
    OC = Orc Camp
OP = outpost , there are 5 of them .. Freeps and creeps need to control two of them to get into the
CHODE = The area of water you can walk across (between TA and OC)
the names of the 5 out post are ae (aradors end) , isendeep, plains, river and south (google ettenmores map for their location lol)

TR = thirit rhaw, this is the central part of the map but all the way east.
Isen/ the mine = is the isendeep mine all the way east of gramsfoot
rez = rez circle so lugz rez and tr rez are the two rez circles

do get your maps, maps, maps.....
