Discussion: The Top Ten: Nimrodel Moors

The Top Ten things about Nimrodel's Moors that you may, or may not know of:


1. Role-playing: I'm a legendary Bard of old...my voice will bolster those who may falter, and I always seek to motivate idle hands......HA. Not really! I don't know what role-playing actually means, but it turns my name white.

2. The only person who has changed there name more than Milt is that guy who sings "Purple Rain".

3. First Marshall An does not spawn when TA is blue. Its true, I wouldn't lie about that one I swear!

4. All the Hunters during MoM book6 became Black Arrows during MoM book7. All of the Black Arrows during MoM book7 became Guardians during SoM. They are also all #1 of this list.

5. Bree is a "Monster Player Free Zone". Thats where you go if you have issues with defeatism. I'd recommend the Prancing Pony, or you can just Man Up.

6. "The BB are cheaters, and the Spit are farmers". Its a bestseller. Consumers who purchased this book have also liked, "The Moors Conspiracy", currently only in paperback. Quantities are limited!

7. Blood-Mart truly does have the best deals in the Moors. Be sure to check daily for special offers.

8. Where is Grothum?

9. My Stun pot didn't work.

10. Its Rusty's fault.

Because of the actions of a heroic (unnamed) raid leader, The Black Blade has been forced to leave the game, resulting in the best pvp this server has..... wait, what happened to that guy?

The hunter/BA/Guard thing definately had me grinning!

12) There was, once, a Minotaur running around the 'moors.

Nice Chief- here's a couple more:

1. There once was a captain named Hobodabobo. He owned Bree before he sold it to the gold farmers. I'm not sure what this has to do with the 'moors other than Hobo once tried to buy Hoarhallow but Slither wouldn't sell.

2. Have you seen troll session play? Best skill in the game: Aoe Punt!

3. Eightrinc once owned Isendeep and made a killing off of caveclaws and Ancient Silver from the Auction Hall.

4. Golloval is the name of a small eagle in the 'moors. He used to be very popular. He now writes hatemail to Lt. An and even has a small political campaign named "Nerf Counterassault Destiny Points". Not surprisingly it only has 1 goal.

5. PPPPPP- otherwise known as the People Purple Eater was actually intentionally done because a pack of 12 wargs on Nimrodel wasn't good enough without it.

Actually, I'm not entirely sure he ever was r6. He may have skipped over it when they lowered the amount of inf/ren required to rank. O.o

16) And long ago, like pre-SoA or sumtin, BA's and archers used to actually BE in the BACK, while all the meleers did their respectful job at front. Look, I even have proof!

28. Curious that turbine would put a chicken foot on the draigoch champion set, maybe it increases the sprint duration.

29. Kalioth will win his 1st 1v1 one of these days and post a U-tube video of him showing the entire fight un-edited.

We are all fair, self aware, and honest in PvP on this server. Nobody who complains about being ganked ever ganks anyone else because they are against ganking. Everyone is for a fair fight, and if they see a 1 v 1 going on, will walk past or just watch, even if their side is losing, because they believe in a fair fight. Nobody is willing to build a high rating at the expense of fairness because a high rating earned by anything other than a fair fight is meaningless. Burgs or Wargs HIPSing to avoid death or only striking when a kill is assured is nonexistent on Nimrodel. And nobody will hug NPCs or a keep unless they are hopelessly outnumbered.
Pinch me, I'm dreaming.

30) There are rules on these pvp places... somewhere... far away... in a land we'll never see....

32) The other day a minstrel announced in OOC that Creeps are way Overpowered now.

I assume it was butta leading the raid 2 or 3 nights ago, so anyways!

Butta fail # 60,364:

After grabbing 3:1 numbers for a freepfest, Butta flips the entire map blue, with an OP and a relic. He leaves a group behind for the second relic. The last few creeps who haven't rage-logged yet (2 BAs and a warg) jump into the relic room only to find....

2 minis....

The rest was lolo, we kept our relic and I think Kal just ninja'd the other relic back :P

Just a note, I was one of the two minis. We wern't a part of that raid, we just hung around there out of boredom and didnt know what the raid group was doing. So this wasn't a butta fail, I guess it was my failure.. but not like I was doing much else

33. Re-enacting the scene from Apocalypse Now, wherein Martin Sheen rises from the water, with your BA behind TA (while taking screenshots) is considered both classy as balls as well as sophisticated.

On a side note, being caught doing that by Volo and one of his captain buddies is decidedly un-classy (as cheese-balls).
