Thread: Gwailohir skirmish challenge!

Hello peeps,

THE COMPETITION WILL END SUNDAY 17th OF JULY! AND I WILL OF COURSE BE COMPETING WITH YOU ALL IN THE MEAN TIME TRYING TO BETTER MY TIMES

Just saw that the skirmish leader-boards is about up and running on the my.lotro.com. I don't know if it has loaded everyone's data but I am up for a little challenge to see if anyone can beat my times. So for all you guys that think that OP guards are the best for DPS, that RK's are overpowered or that champs just plain and simple rule this is the chance to show that the hunter is not the best class for these assualt skirmishes combined!!

The price will be a total of 20 gold up for grabs.

Rules are Tier 1 - Level 65 - Solo and this challenge is for any class out there. You have to beat my time on these three skirmishes with the same character:

1. Beat my time on Breaching the Necromancer's gate Time: 8 minutes and 16 seconds
2. Beat my time on Thievery & Mischief. Time: 5 minutes and 39 seconds
3. Beat my time on Strike against Dannenglor. Time: 4 minutes and 56 seconds

for a total win of 20 gold all in all that goes to the person with best times.

Side challenge:
If any hunter can beat my time on Strike against Dannenglor I will award the person with the best time with 5 gold.

The time that will be deciding this is the time that gets on the leader-board on the website and not the in-game times, other than that I don't care how you do the skirmish. Obviously if u get a time of 1 second I'm gonna rule it out but other than that just play fair.

Might give it a go at some point, get some empowerment scrolls while I'm at it.

Could you post your times? leaderboards refuse to behave.

Hmm I dont seem to be able to filter it for a specific skirmish, also the times dont make any sense? Its saying best time for Gwail is 11k? I dont get it xD

since you're not filtering for a specific skirmish I think that 11k is all his best times combined (time is in seconds) his best for dannenglor is 333s...which I just beat by 7s ^^ *waits for the leaderboard to update*

Good to see you're up for the challenge Din.

Maybe I can improve my own times a little.... My times, for people not having fun with the leaderboards, are (the rank of my time serverwide)

Dannenglor: 4 minutes and 54 seconds (4th)
Necromancer: 12 minutes and 16 seconds (3rd)
Thievery & Mischief: 6 minutes and 56 seconds (1st)

And sol take up the challenge with your OP RK ;-)

Aww thats weird, I did dannenglor faster than 4:44 twice now but its not counting? For some reason it is bugged on a 0:00 duration? So it doesnt count =(

Oh btw gwail, I challenge you to beat my champ in Ford of Bruinen xD

Apparently I'm no1 there for some reason. Prob because very few ppl do that one :P

(I just love the shingshing there on my champ xD)

6 min 1 sec on Thievery

8 min 24 sec on Necromancer
