Re: So are the MyLOTRO blogs broken for everyone else?
Complete my old thread, I realized that my only full detail character not a member of my kinship yet. All of kinship data, including the data of kinship member characters is missing from mylotro database. If I will enter that character to the kin, it's data also will be lost?

Re: Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inco
Same here, this "Beta" board is a big pile of bugs if you ask me, and I'd like to finally be able to actually read people's blogs, edit my character preferences, change my character-signature, and every other bit that's borked while being logged in.
I've filed a ticket through the link Celestrata provided over 3 weeks ago, but there's no way to track forum bug tickets, nor any communication about a fix or the root of the problems. I didn't even receive an email acknowledging the receipt of my ticket, so I guess that's another section of these forums that is still in "Beta".
Please fix my lotro!Waiting for Turbine to fix myLotro so I can have a proper sig...

Morning Celestrata,
This morning when I tried to access my profile page I recieved the "Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologise for the inconvenience." notice. Just a heads up as I've not really checked my account here since transferrring from the EU servers.
Hope whatever is causing it gets sorted soon and best of luck to those tackling the issue.

Re: Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inco
OK guys its tested, its not the account, its some OLD migrated kinships from EU to USA, if you have only 1 char in one of the bugged ones, you won't be ble to use my.lotro, yesterday I left my chars from the kin I suspected was bugged, I could see again all the stats of my chars, and event see mylotro; but when I joined again, in my kin:
Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience.
And ther ewe go again, so its some kinships that are bugged, as long as you are on that kinship all your chars in there and my.lotro will be bugged.
If this is for any help?
Really please, try to solve the Kinships database It shouldn't be so dificult. And I should have earn money for that test, ther eis people who earns money for that!Isilmewen Lothglorion from Rivendel, map caretaker, cartographer and master scholar.

Re: Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inco
Just to be sure.... Nimrodel, is that a former European server? Cause I've got only character in a kinship, of all the characters I've made on all servers, which is one Nimrodel character.
All other characters on all servers are NOT in a kinship. So... If Nimrodel is NOT a former European server, could it lead to the conclusion that the problem (which I also have with this account) is not related to migrated kinships at all?
In addition to an earlier post in this thread I've come across something new, at least to me. I've visited Feonnah's Page as a link from the main page and it looks like as screwed up as my profile page and more. It's not showing my characters, but it is showing hers ( I assume Feonnah is a she
)
Thought I should mention this in a seperate post in this thread instead of updating my previous post, since this is (as far as I know) new in the list of problems. Forgive me if its already been mentioned.Last edited by Shriya; Aug 24 2011 at 12:36 PM. Reason: added some new information I just came across

Re: Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inco
Update to my information:
Last night I created a new character on Snowbourn. On the Character Tab at top of forums "My Preferences" Drop Down menu "My Character Settings" I get the "Error: An Error has occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience." message.
However in the drop down list of all my characters from "My Characters Tab" I can get all the details from this new character. Note this new character is not in a Kinship.
I am still getting get the "Infinite Loop" error when I try to see while Logged In:
My Blog
My Blog Admin
Anyone else's Blog (even from the "Recent Blog Post" section on the "Home" Tab)
Kinships
When I am NOT Logged In I can see My Blog and other people's blogs.

I have the same "Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience" and infinite loop problems
Some characters work, others don't, kinship pages etc. give infinite loop errors.
Do I need to post somewhere, PM someone or raise a ticket for it to be fixed for my account or is this post enough?
Thanks.

Re: Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inco
I have the same errors "Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience" when I click "My Character preferences" and when I click on most of my character details in the "Characters" Tab. (They are now all listed since last fis, but not working).
The only Chars working correctly as details are concerned are unimportant test characters of low lvl on different servers.
Pleeease repair this before RoI!!
Thanks

And for me.
Mostly errors when trying to navigate to most characters, signature and data from IOS app is outdated, but shows atleast some gear/info. One kinless character I had, didn't show level in the menu, but DID had correct gear listed. Now it joined a kin, it still don't shot its level, but also not the gear anymore. (where other characters DID show their level, but always caused errors or missing gear)
I have migrated EU characters, no server transfers, lifetime sub.Maandag the Captain, Dinsdag the pumpkin Hunter, Woensdag the Minstrel, Donderdag the Loremaster, Vrijdag the Warden, Zaterdag the Warg, Zondag the Burglar, Valentijnsdag the Champion, Strover the Runekeeper on Evernight

Re: AW: Re: Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for
Here's the list, which is a copy of my earlier posts (some in other threads)
- Problem accessing blog: I've taken a screenshot of the page I get to see when I try to access my blog. It looks like the character list is being loaded, but as you can see in the address bar, I tried to open up my blog... Very weird. I can, however, access my blog's admin. For some reason that IS being recognized. In addition, if I load the character settings page, I see the standard menu (Home, Guides, etc) twice, as you can see in the screenshot. The entire menu is highlighted when I hover my mouse over the menu bar.
- Being logged out without apparent reason: Also, I'm regularly being logged out automatically for no apparent reason. I have checked the box "keep me logged in" when I logged in. It's totally random. I can view a thread in a forum and be logged in and when I want to react or perhaps go to another forum or thread I'm suddenly logged out, while I never logged out myself.
- Screwed up profile page: My profile page (accessible from the forum post anyway) is screwed up exactly like the screenshot linked above.
- Screwed up Character settings: My character settings gives the "sorry for the inconvenience" error message. The link in the menu up above in the right corner is: http://my.lotro.com/home/profile/. Should it be that link for Character Settings, or should it be a different link?
- Character details sheets: Clicking the characters link in the main menu gives a link to the servers. For all servers I get the correct (albeit not up to date) character listing that seems to be loaded correctly. However, when I select the characters, these are the servers that give problems:
- Gwaihir: gives blank page with nothing but the texts (Which actually links to the exact same page):
Player: Character Links: Character Details
- Maiar: same as above. Also, like with the above server, the link only says character name, level (not the actual level but just the word level)
- Sirannon: same as above
- Gwaihir: gives blank page with nothing but the texts (Which actually links to the exact same page):
- Crafting information: If you look at my character sheet (details) for Sheherezi, you'll see that she's reached Advanced 'Cook' (Mastery 3 / Proficiency 3) and Advanced 'Cook' (Mastery 3 / Proficiency 3), but it's not showing up in my forum signature. At least the cook should show up, right? And if I'm correct, the farmer profession should show up as well. I've tried to refresh my forum signature by deleting it and remake it, but that didn't help.
- Accessing other people's blogs: Randomly I arrive on a blog that looks like my screwed up blog page. It's doesn't seem to have anything to do with the main page, cause I visited blogs from the main page that looked perfectly fine as well as blogs that were screwed up.
About my characters: On this account I've got two characters on the Nimrodel server:
- Sheherezi: not in a kin, never was, might be in the future, but I've got no plans for her to do that yet
- Shriya: is in a kin.
- All other characters are on other servers. These are merely alts and have never been nor will they ever be in a kin.
I think this is about it. Was this helpful enough or do you need more details?Last edited by Shriya; Aug 29 2011 at 03:50 PM.

AW: Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inco
@Shriya
Your problem seams to be a different nature. It hasn't to anything with the kinship problematic.
Most people here have the problem, if minimum one character is in a migrated kin the things you have mentioned aren't shown with the two different errors.
If I leave with my chars my kinship everything works fine. So I don't belive that your problem has the same reason.
The only thing you can try is that you talk with your kinleader because you like to leave the kin for a couple of hours to proof it.
I think your problem is, as I read in an other thread, something different which happened sometimes even before the migration. If this is true it would be the best to write a ticket with an description that it has nothing to do with the kinship problematic.
But I can also be wrong.

This is the first real clue which makes sense that I've read about this issue in months, added the fact that matches exactly with my case. I belong to one of the first created kinships in one of the former european servers (The Proud Ones - Evernight) and although I knew about some others kinmates in the same situation I've never asked to all of kin members. I will do.
Thanks for your research Isilmewen.

I have the same problems with missing Kin name, unable to access areas of the forums without logout, Error messages on trying to access "my preference" areas.
I hope it is sorted soon, not the Soon that the US have got used to - the true meaning of the word. It was funny the first time I read it.

I've tried it out, just to be sure, to leave the kin today, but so far this doesn't seem to

Also, support tickets, is that for free players too? Or should I post my problem on the free player support forum?

Getting this error when trying to access my or other people's characters, our kinship's bugged or something and my chars don't appear on the skirm leaderboards (which pisses me off because my warden would be pretty high on Barrow Survivor
). I can wait, but it's pretty annoying.

An interesting finding for me people (maybe you were already aware), even although I belong to a "bugged" kinship I've found out that the "Character Sheet widget" that you can add in your home tab works in some way.
It displays some of the info and gear about my characters while in the "Characters" tab remains that "Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience."
Just for your info.

Adding my name to the list.
I was able to see my character details from about a week after the migration... but about a week later I got the same error as the OP.
It has remained bugged ever since.
