Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconven
Hey all, since last Thursday i get the above message when trying to access MyLotro home, previous to Thursday i had a fully accessible home page, just no character data as Im an EU player.
I've cleared cookies, cache, accessed using a multitude of browsers, but still the same issue.
Re: Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inco
Same here... It's going on for more than 2 weeks already... The feature worked only the first days to about 1 week after the migration. After that, every time i try to see the Home section of the website, while i am logged in i get "Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience. " If i am not logged in, i can see it perfectly. When i log in i always get the message, and if i checked "Keep me logged in", every time i enter the website i see that error.
EDIT: I too am EU, and i also cleared cookies, cache and all that stuff.

This is probably due to the import still being in progress, but in My Characters, I have nothing showing, but if I visit the Leaderboards for my server I can see one of my characters. Clicking on the link provides "Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience.". I'm assuming this will be fixed in time, but in case it's a different problem I thought I should post anyway.
Re: Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inco
Same problem. I think it could be related to the fact that you have to log on to all your characters to refresh their status on the server (I had oldies that I didn't use for ages and they don't seem to refresh properly unless I log on to these). I am going to try this and see how it goes.
Re: So are the MyLOTRO blogs broken for everyone else?
Completely broken on most pages. Basically nothing works except the forum, which logs me off randomly every now and again.
I have no confidence it will be fixed any time in the short to medium term.

Alts: Silithil (75CHP) Campion (75GRD) Alunadail (75MIN) Geirdis (75CP) Turbine no plans to fix MyLotro.
Re: So are the MyLOTRO blogs broken for everyone else?
Well I believe it was Laurelin and Snowbourn that were broken with character stuff into MyLOTRO before the maintenance so maybe it's related to us lucky people with characters on those servers, which kind of sucks since its now worse than before
Re: So are the MyLOTRO blogs broken for everyone else?
Maybe so, I can see Tharrn above has his kinship on his graphical sig from Belegaer, another former EU server, which is something I can't get to as a Laurelin player.
It's just so frustrating.

I still cannot access my blog page and was wondering if any one else who has had this problem can now do so after yesterday's maintenance? I still can't access my blog, nor can I access those of others, including the devs, which is obviously very annoying from the point of view of reading dev blog updates.
My apologies for creating a new thread about this issue, but I am unable to post in the original thread concerning this matter. Every time I try to do so I am logged out of the forum. It only happens with that particular thread.

Re: So are the MyLOTRO blogs broken for everyone else?
This bug has been around for over a month. See the thread below, might wanna post in there to alert the blue name folk to the fact that you're affected as well, since Duwis said that they weren't going to accept individual tickets but rather ask people to post in that thread, and that they would be working on a general solution even though they could solve the issue on a case by case basis. Go figure.
Thanks for creating this new thread! I wanted to post an update in the thread that I started about this issue, and where Duwis asked us to put any relevant info, but I too cannot post messages there anymore, or PM Duwis through the user menu for that matter. Every action I take logs me out and that's mighty frustrating!
The problem persists still... could we PLEASE... with sugar and honey and lots of whipped cream and cherries on top... get an update on where you guys on the other side are regarding tackling this issue? And if it's still a long ways off before you can implement a general solution for all, is it not by now time that you allow us to send individual tickets? You (Duwis) did say that the issue was fairly easy to solve on a case-by-case basis, so have we not by now been patient long enough and earned that?

The problem for me is that that thread seems broken too. Every time I try and post in it I am logged out of the forum. If someone could post in that thread for me asking for them to take a look at my account (if that is what they are doing) then I would be most grateful.

+1
Please post here is all well and good, but it's another broken part of the site.

I can get into both of your blogs, and my own. I'd guess you're looking at a browser cache, or dns cache problem. Try clearing the cache in your browser, and if that doesn't work, reboot the computer.

I have the same problem as they do. I have cleared my cache, cleared my cookies; tried three different browsers; tried three different devices and two different connections. None of it worked.

Re: So are the MyLOTRO blogs broken for everyone else?
This issue seems to be connected uniquely to the account, upon investigation. Both the "We apologize for the inconvenience" errors and the "infinite redirect loop" are related uniquely to the accounts themselves.
I will pass this information along to our web development team, but if anyone else encounters this error, please post in this thread.

What does that mean for those of us suffering from this issue?

Re: So are the MyLOTRO blogs broken for everyone else?
This is still happening for me. This is after cleared history, cookies and cache. Through a PC, a mobile phone and a tablet.
My Blog, My Blog Admin and my friend's pages all display this error "The webpage at http://my.lotro.com/user-number has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer. Here are some suggestions: Reload this webpage later. Learn more about this problem. Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects." I get this error no matter what link I try to follow to a MyLotro blog despite the fact I did clear all cookies and enable third party cookies.
In spite of that error I was finally able to get a forum signature, which is stuck at least two months back. Big deal.
The forum finally sees my server, Snowbourne and has a DROP-DOWN character list yet I still can't get details on any of them except for the Creep I created over a year ago and haven't played since. Additional information the Creep is also missing an avatar picture.
The error on accessing any of my other Characters is : "Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience."
It has been two and a half months since the EU migration start and the bugs keep getting worse.
And as others have said no Kinship in the Sig plus I was getting friend activity updates until 5 days ago when it quit.

Hello Celestrata,
I encounter both errors, the redirect loop when I click on my username and the inconvenience error when trying to access specific characters, too
Re: So are the MyLOTRO blogs broken for everyone else?
Since it's asked, I have the same problem. I've taken a screenshot of the page I get to see when I try to access my blog. It looks like the character list is being loaded, but as you can see in the address bar, I tried to open up my blog... Very weird. Also, I'm regularly being logged out automatically for no apparent reason. My profile page (accessible from the forum post anyway) is screwed up exactly like the screenshot linked above. My character settings gives the "sorry for the inconvenience" error message.
I can access my blog's admin. For some reason that IS being recognized. Avatar settings, forum settings and inbox are also normally accessible.
It's a very weird issue....
BTW, I have no redirect infinite loop up until now.
I've done everything else, reloaded, rebooted, cleared cache, tried different browser, etc.
I really hope that it can be solved.
Edit to add: I've logged in with my other account and I don't have any problems with that account. So it seems it's somehow account related.
This account has a main on the Nimrodel server, but alts on all other servers as well. The other account only has characters on the Nimrodel server.
A few additions again: Clicking the characters link in the main menu gives a link to the servers. For all servers I get the correct (albeit not up to date) character listing. However, when I select the characters, these are the servers that give problems:
- Gwaihir: gives blank page with nothing but the texts:
Player:
Character Links:Character Details (Which actually links to the exact same page)
- Maiar: same as above. Also, like with the above server, the link only says character name, level (not the actual level but just the word level)
- Sirannon: same as above

Re: So are the MyLOTRO blogs broken for everyone else?
I've had the same problems too with Blogs (redirect loop) and with my characters page (sorry for the inconvenience).
Started shortly after migration to Turbine, and I assumed that it was to do with databases being updated, gradually. There were blue-name posts about how these would be fixed over the coming weeks, but hadn't seen any recent posts about it until now.
Cardemel of Mirkwood - a Hunter with Cír Amdir
Capkatt Stinkspit - a Warleader fetching sticks
Cardhad of erm Somewhere - a Warden doin.. uh.. what? where?
Re: So are the MyLOTRO blogs broken for everyone else?
I also have the problem of infinite redirects and cannot access my own blogs. I get random log-outs but clicking on a link usually logs me back in again (session database timeout?).
Re: So are the MyLOTRO blogs broken for everyone else?
I also have these two errors (the infinite loop and Sorry for inconvenience). Cannot access anything apart from the forums.

Yes, I've had exactly the same expectations and been attributing the errors to the unfinished database updates.

Re: So are the MyLOTRO blogs broken for everyone else?
If I click on My Preferences, My characters then I just get a red error message, been like that for weeks. I tried to post on a thread relating to that specific issue but the forum logged me out and didn't recognise my log in details - even though I'm still logged in on this thread and able to reply!
