Mount Dom Camping Trip is a raiding kin. We completed Draigoch T2C on 10/18/2011 and a T1 clear of Tower of Orthanc on 12/18/2011. Lightning T2C was cleared on 01/11/2012 and Fire & Frost T2 on 01/19/2012. At level 65, we completed OD Disease, Poison, and Ivar Challenges, Wound T2, Fear T1, Gorotheon T1, as well as all of BG HM.
Our raid times are Thurdays and Tuesdays 7:30pm EST.
This post will be periodically updated to reflect our recruitment status.
We want players who know their classes and receive suggestions well. The kin aims to provide grouping experience, but we will not teach people how to play. Applicants will also need to be able to use Vent.
Cheers,
Arfiel

Reason: For Update 5!
Congrats on Draigoch! I would be willing to raid with you guys. I have a lvl 75 champ Asboog on Imlandris. I know others in my kin (Wardens of Annuminas) would be interested as well.
Would you guys be willing to accept a Champ into the kin, even though he's not level 75 (actually, still a while to it)?
What I offer is the certainty of participating in every possible raid once I hit the level cap.
Thing is, I think most people get demoralized with the long grind to level 75 because its hard to find groups to play with, especially on this server. If the raiding kins would be willing to accept 2, maybe 3 recruits, trainees, at a time, it'd make the raiding in the server more consistent, and people would get a grasp of how it works from an earlier stage. For example, one good thing would be to simply allow those members to hear the communication of a raid team in TS3.
If you don't think that's possible... well... I guess I'll keep soloing until level 75 and see if by then I can get some decent gear to run with you guys if you accept me then
Class roles in groups, and raiding particularly, can bear little resemblance to solo play. On the other hand, LOTRO raiding is not so complicated that you need weeks of vent immersion (literally, expect plenty of hopefully intelligent swearing in vent). If there are some groups that will take your offer, all good for you. If not, you are welcome to ask questions regardless.
If you ever need a good hunter i am available. The name is Ladgrin, 4/6 Adventurer Set and 2 lvl 75 2nd Agers. I am sure others in my kin (Wardens of Annuminas) would be interested depending on availability, champs and guards mostly.
MDCT is seeking the services of any local fire department or rescue service to retrieve our lost rune-keeper, Verthandi. She has been trapped on top of Saruman's chandelier for a week and requires immediate assistance.
How interested would you guys be on a champ lvl 75? I posted my interest in this kin before (see page 1) and have been 75 for a while. At the moment I'm sitting on 3/6 draigoch, nearly 4 (its a matter of getting medallions really, shouldnt be a problem), crit crafted shoulders+helm and aiming for the rep jewellry. Need to finish theodreds riders jewellry.
I have completed draigoch t2c and have acquired my 2A weapon... Relatevily to gear I am fairly satisfied for what I can get outside of raids. Thats mostly why I want to enter MDCT - to get myself some raid gear and get the toon to the max.
The other reason why I want to join is to get advice: I read what i can on the forums and I know alot about my class (champ) comparatively to other people I see around the game and I also know a good deal about other classes, but I am 100% sure that going to MDCT would provide me with more experience and that you can give me alot of helpful advice, assuming I get in the raids.
So... would it be worth it to try to apply to MDCT, or are you full?
Thanks in advance,
Reikur
edit: oh, figured I should say, I have both a micro, vent and TS3 if you ever change to it. I feel communication is incredibly important for team success

Reason: adding information
I would be interested in raiding with you guys, but would like to stay in my current kinship. If you need a level 75 champion (I am not geared very much [yet]) for a raid send me a tell.
Wassup. 75 champ always open for raids (I have them all except a few skirmishes) if online and not busy with important matters.
