Thread: Council of Elders ~ Recruiting +50 RL

Council of Elders is a new small kinship of serious players who are +50 RL (real life) We seek older players of the same age, howver age is not a deciding factor for membership! Leadership are Level 65 players, all of whpom have alt/toons that are leveling, and can help you level as well! We all have crafting proficiencies! We are laid back and casual. We have no rules! Some of us are currently operating in the EST time zone, however we have one member in Europe, and another on the West Coast USA! Our aim is the grow as a kin so that we can run end game content together! We have a new kinhouse! Conatct Palandiran if you are interested! PLEASE NOTE MISPELLING IT IS PALANDIRAN!

I've been looking for a kinship comprised of older folks - the kin this character is in is just my "bank" kin. Do you have a terribly large population of people in their 20's and 30's? I know it sounds ageist (and it is) but I have quite had my fill of the younger set due to over 5 years of playing that other game. It's a matter of personal preference for me, really - I like to socialize and chat with people closer to my own age, 40+. Thanks in advance for any info you can give me!

I am an active, 40+ newbie to the game. I have two chars on Imladris, one a lvl 26 Dwarven Champ and one a lvl 10 Hobbit Hunter. To date I have been questing alone and have started skirmishes however I now feel that it is time to join a kin to get the most of the game. I currently play FTP but will be moving to VIP shortly. I am looking to a Kin to help me with quests, crafting and chatting. In return I would be more than willing to help the kin members out as best I can be it quests, crafting or as required.

If you feel I may be suitable for your kin please do let me know.

Kimina, I was on Leafcutter last night at the time of your post, so we must have missed each other. Tonight I will be running School/ Library on Pal from 6-9 EST (with dinner break) , send tell so I know your on. After the run, I will be on Leafcitter till 12 pm EST. If we miss, look for Aon, or Urus, who may be on as they are PST. Also, look for Lencthlavorn , who is also PST. Look forward to meeting you. I will alert the other kin to look out for you!

Hi, tried to Tell you last night as your Pal character was online but no success. Will try again tonight.

Wish I could get rid of that +50 in the original thread title? We are not age resrictive. Synthalion says it right on key in his post below! We are serious about leveling and playing our toons! There is kin chat about our RL's , however much of the kin chat is on who needs what crafting item, advice on leveling from the higher leveled players, sharing what we are doing at the moment, ding dinging at each level! We post in our kin forum class tactics we use. We are game oriented. Not social oriented. Courteous, kind, helpful and mature. I'm a brand new player, looking for a guild to level with and learn the ropes of skirmishing and raiding. I'm in the SF Bay Area, and I'm play regularly from 9 to 11 Pacific time.

As far as my age ... I'm only 39, but I feel pretty ancient of days! The tone of this guild sounds just right for me. I've been away from gaming for a few years, but I was playing as far back as Asheron's Call when it was new, through City of Heroes and WoW, so although new to LotRO I have some idea what I'm doing. And I'm a Tolkien fan from childhood.

I craft as well, mainly as a Scholar but leveling all three of the Historian professions, and I'd love to have a kinship that both has a use for the items I make (right now it's all ending up as vendor fodder), and will help me out with ingredients I can't gather myself.

So far my only character is a Loremaster closing in on level 20, but I'm happy to start any class the guild has a need for. For right now I'm still completely F2P, but I'll pick up whatever VIP stuff I need to pull my weight.

I just made a toon on your server. Have 4 toons from lvl 10 to 40 sitting on Crickethollow. Have a good amount of experiance been playing this game for over a year and a few others for alot longer. The other server seems to be dropping in population, so I am looking for a new one to play on.
