Hello men, women, elves and hobbits of Gilrain!

We are Illuminati, a cosy rank 10 kin who enjoy all aspects of LotRO, from social events to raiding with our alliance we aim to keep everyone happy. We are looking for a few brave free peoples of all shapes, sizes and levels, and maybe even a few smelly creeps!

We are a kin with all the trimmings, including a house with plenty of storage, a long standing team of officers, most of whom have been kinnies for 3 years+ and an active website. Our main interests include helping our newer members level and gear up, running end game 3 - 6 man content on a regular basis and having fun out in the moors (where we also have a creep tribe, Noctum). We also run competitions somewhat at random, sometimes a lottery, sometimes a Screeny contest and encourage all our members to take part and come up with whatever they can think of for us to do!
Some of us get a little obssessed with our toons, hoping to make them as good as they can be, others enjoy 'alting' and several people in the kin have more than one of every class! We also have several casual players, sometimes because of real life. We will never allow LotRO to get in the way of real life, and anyone who takes a break, forced or otherwise will always find a home back at Illuminati when they return!

We have a broad range of nationalities but our agreed language is English. We are also a pretty sociable guild in real life, with a Facebook group and the very occasional kin meet up event, although there is of course no pressure to join any of these aspects.

We have two major alliances: our 'kinship' alliance is with Redux. They are a relatively new kin (established by veterans as a home for new f2p players) but have a large number of members of all levels and we often use one another to fill spaces and ask for help and general silliness!
The other kin we are paired with is the Order of the Dutch Lion, they are our 'raiding' alliance and a Dutch speaking kin (although our main raiding language is English). We have 1 or 2 raids on the calendar every week (on different days so everyone has a chance) and we use a simple DKP system which gives constant raiders an edge but newcomers plenty of opportunity to win goodies. Both alliances have chat channels.

Hi there, here's some words from Mobin and all the alts ( Mobin + some more characters ). I've been with Illuminati since autum 2008 and have always enjoyed the company and help from the kin. Usually play solo, keeping all alts going, but I also enjoy raiding when times allow it.
