Are you sure you didn't do the HM? The HM chest is often bugged after one or more wipes in Ivar and won't spawn at all even when you complete the challenge. Your deed log will show whether you did the HM or not, or at least it should do that.

I can't believe that can be actually failed. The first part when fighting Ivar's Champions is not that hard with their corruptions on and if you make sure you don't accidentally use any corruption removal skill, it's piece of cake. The real challenge begins when Ivar activates and starts doing nasty AOE.

Gz anyway to Extinction and other kinships for their progress.

We didnt do HM as we wanted as many tries as possible. HM isnt harder, just longer. Will go HM next time

Please supply a screenie with the kin name to prove it was Extinction did Ivar challenge. Thats the rules, screenie should be a proof, and in this case there is a questionmark since the players in the screenshot were in a different kinship till Tuesday and not all are in Extinction now.

In that case, I'd like to know exactly what's validating the screenie from Synergy's Wound HM? I don't see any kin names in that screenshot?

I don't really care which kin/kin's get's the credits for Ivar HM... Personally id say don't add it to the list, since the kin (Dark Lineage) doesn't exist anymore.

Well in that case, there is no ambiguity. All those players were in Synergy at that time. I only raised it because its a bit unclear in this case because all these players have been moving around some. Just asking for clarification, is all, about which kinship it actually is.

No need for proof if someone is prepared to categorically say here which label was actually over their heads...

Cult of Bobseh Cleared the whole of Tier 2 HM.

The kinship in question was Dark Lineage. On the screenshot roughly half the players were ex-Extinction and half were ex-Dark Prophecy.

Dark Lineage has disbanded after only one week, but it certainly was a most efficient kinship in terms of the ratio: achievements/kinship lifespan. 1 T2 HM / 1 week. Try to beat that.

No thanks, I think youll find most people enjoy being in a kin for the long-haul as they dont have ego and epeen problems, but yeah grts was impressive to do that in 7 days, gooooooo team.

Beat what? Hasty merging and even hastier disbanding? Or beating a content one of the kins did before the merge?

Sure, I'll ask Mal to make alt kin for KoWT and we'll clear the whole OD in one week, lol. I think the appropriate name for our alt kinship would be Medget Task Force!

It was two seperate kins who had recently come together, you deserve that. But let's say I took three Synergy, three KoWT, three Ascension and three Extinction and we did Ivar HM on the first night. Would we be super fantastic for finishing something nearly all of us had done previously?

As for the Extinction/Dark Lineage thing, I am going to record the kill to Dark Lineage for posterity, even though it has since disbanded. Extinction will be able to post up a 100% legit one very shortly in any case, as they will be farming it now, I am sure.

Going forward we probably need some consensus on how to record these kind of things that occur at the boundary between black and white. Certainly proofs from now on should have the kin name somewhere, or some evidence of that.

Hi, we tried yesterday OD as Kin raid - Midnight Star - for the first time. most of the people have never been there before. It was bit challenging especially at Durins Bane. Next time we will hopefully finish rest and looking forward to try T2.

Would like to say a huge thank you for all the responses in the global chats and the IM's, its been a stressful few weeks but we can now sit back and relax, as all of Ost dunhoth tier 2 challenge modes have been completed.
