Re: Baruk Khazad looking for new recruits!
So I just wanted to ask a few questions to get a better idea of the three different dwarf kins. Both my friend and I are making dwarves, and I want to make sure we pick the one that best suites our playing style (not to mention that he's new to online RP'ing, and I've only done it way back in the day on a persistent NWN world, so they'll be a bit of a "learning curve," so to speak)
About how large is the kin?
When is the group most active? (I realize the majority of the player base will be from across the pond, and we're both EST night players)
Are there any recruitment restrictions? I.e., is the kin actively looking looking for specific classes.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Baruk Khazad looking for new recruits!
Good to hear that you're about to making a dwarf character

I would call our kinship medium/large, dependant of which kinships you have already seen. Our group is most active on European evening time, which is starting from noon to aroun 7 PM New York time. We aren't really looking for special classes, only for friendly active dwarves to join our ranks. Hope my answers have been of help to you. If you do have some more however, than just ask away
regards,
Hasi

A video from one of Baruk Khazad's semi-regular events (open to all dwarves across the server), the Pilgrimage to Khazad-Dûm.

Re: Baruk Khazad looking for new recruits!
and that graindim is a proper trooper! Successfully launched our latest RP thread event yesterday evening.
So even more incentive to join and get in on the ground level of a new storylineFeldsparr Steelhelm, Third Lord of Baruk Khazad.
"We await the return of Dwelorin, First lord of the kin who is believed to have fallen to shadow.. but we mourn him not for his return is long prophecied"

Re: Baruk Khazad looking for new recruits!
As I'm making my long overdue (almost two years) return, my ol' dwarf Tharlan is in search of a new home. Who would I need to speak to about finding a small space in Baruk Khazad for me? Finding it a little lonely running around in an almost empty kinship at the moment..
I imagine level and slightly limited online time isn't an issue, is it? Working full-time takes up more time than I would like
Sounds like a great home for an old dwarf!

Re: Baruk Khazad looking for new recruits!
You should talk to an officer about getting in our kin. When I am online I will look for you!

Re: Baruk Khazad looking for new recruits!
The dwarves of Baruk Khazad are among the fiercest warriors in all of Middle-Earth.

Re: Baruk Khazad looking for new recruits!
Just a little clarification.
If you want to apply to our kinship, contact one of our officers in-game via tells or mail. Those are Feldsparr, Ule, Turulf, Klepp, Klomrim, Odine, Ketnar, Graindim or Svalgrim. Any of our dwarves can help you to find them.
Application to our website will be considered only after the in-game contact.
Svalgrim, Seneschal of Baruk Khazad
