Hey... As we got a new Forum now,i want to take that Chance and start a WW PvMP Discussion Thread...

I know that PvMP on our Server isnt that big,but there is some !!

If you have anything to say about the Moor`s Activities ,if you have Ideas,or just wanna say Hi to a creep/freep you just fought or make your statement about the warg raid that just assaulted you 12v1 do it here

I would like to bring some Raid vs Raid,or grp fights to the Moors... And maybe some Spars just for fun !!

If anyone of you got Ideas,or is willing to help set up such an *Event* dont be shy post here,or send me a PM,or Mail ingame..

Id like to see more frequent Action in our Moors,not just hit and run,or Ranged aiming practice at Bridge/Keepentrance

monster play is a rp role part of this game like a freep.why a freep can play the game like f2p and a fun evil side player cant play a creep side free?for this you cant enjoy the fun in moors and w8 vip players to join creeps for that.i play my creep at the vip days but now i have unlock everything in my acc and enjoy the freep side.so better realese the creep side too and lock creep trais same like freeps.this is fair.i know ppl who make vip only to play vreeps.after that they see a dead place and 2-3 freep all the day(not all the days of course but the most) and after stop the vip or go to more pop server to enjoy the pve

I was planning on having another PvMP event of sorts, to try and encourage the Moors for some of the newer level 65s. Let me know what you guys think

Awesome idea Gwarth. i've got quite a few new 65's in protectors that have never done PVP before in the lotro lifes, the shame, so if you do go ahead with it, ill be sure to muster some peeps up

We had before some nice fights between small groups or small raids on Withywindle. Atm is very quiet in moors so would be nice to see again bunch of creepies and freepies fighting everywhere arround in moors once more. Def as usualy im there on my Defiler and guys from my tribe runing arround too but sadly cant see any freep so an event or just random visits in moors would be really nice.

Well my I now got VIP again so Powerpickle will be returning to the moors

Thats good to hear. We dont have maybe a lot of people on our server but we have many nice and friendly players. I know atm Turbine gave us many things to do in PvE and our freep characters would like to get a lot of nice shiny things before they will enter etten but i just heard a bad rumors about farm/gank mode etc so i guess that made some players leave etten , and these who wanted do anything noticed that there is not many players and etten is empty so they left too. I guess it workt on both sides.

Anyway we have players who would like to bring back days in etten where we had some nice fights between small groups or even small raids. So what we need to do atm is try to get some nice events (also its a nice way to introduce etten for new players who never were there yet and are curious about that place). Also step by step we can make again etten noisy. We can also just try to get on global some people for etten for both sides and Voila we can always have some fun and if there will be not enough players we can always make nice 1v1 spars. I know we are not like most of other serevrs where action in etten is most of the time but Withywindle is a small baby, new server and only ''we'' players can make that server great, none else.

Question is: How many players and who is still intrested with doing anything in ettenmoors ?

Just got off from playing on Withy creepside, was nice to finally creep again although I saw a Rank 9 Champion :O

Had some nice skirmishes around TRHS until a group of 5 suddenly vanished, it left me and Akorgar alone until a nice little tasty hobbit appeared with a tasty human guardian aswell, Was some nice 2 vs 2 at EC, no NPCs involved , Cheers to flanie(can't remember correctly) and Braxtor for the fights was epic, even though I didn't die, got some nice Kbs and was fairly even.

How goes PvP on withy last weeks? Is it better or still the same?

As a server is new we need a time and step by step we will bring again action to etten. Atm is quiet but some events gonna soon come so lets hope thx those events people again will visit moors. Today i saw an example few freeps runing arround 53-57lvl , i guess new players who were trying discover etten map and do some quests or whatever reason was.

Need moar freeps

Today since afternnon until late night we had some nice small fights in ettenmoors. Maximum creeps which we got in our raid were 10 (many unranked new creep players started to play) and 9 freeps. Freeps brought nice team 3x minstrels 3x hunters, champion and rk which was almost unbetable as unranked creeps and few rank 1-4 creeps couldnt do at OC nothing but before that and after was pretty nice as we could kill some and we died as well. I guess we need more ranks on our creeps to be able fight with that ''unbetable freep group"

Anyway i would like to thank all of you, creeps and freeps, who brought some action and some fun to etten today. Let's hope it will get only better now in the future

We just need more nights like yesterday and then pvp is well on his way on this server

That was an great battle.Just a little look from a Freep side.
Hope to see more of these fight's in Withywindle.

Started playing creep on withy again. Went to hunter last time and it kinda killed the action, so staying on creep. Rolled warg, yes I know, but I've also got a rank 4 wl, and he's a sitting duck. Don't know which one I'll rank, guess that depends on how many reavers reach rank 6

But,dear Creeps,please stop hugging the NPC`s waiting for us to pull some,*we arent that stupid we do that once or twice,to get maybe 1 or 2 kills on you and then run,but in the Future we will just leave and let you sit there all day alone*

So,its up to you,if you wont PvP stop hiding inside NPC Keeps,Camps etc if the Numbers are even,or you are more then the Freeps... Fight get your Kill,and if you die just die ^^ you dont lose anything...

The same goes for some Freeps ofc..

Yup nice open fights would be better, but there to many low ranks on creeps side. Low rank creeps are not going to take on fully geared freeps in the open were not stupid

Have been the only Creep on for the last 2 hours, with no sign of any freeps I logged in at EC and a hunter was killing NPC guess what happened, I run to kill him and he runs straight into EC kites me eht whole way round with 300 morale, I die he logs off -.- Seriously he was a wimp.

I do enjoy my WL more, but it needs a good reaver! Luckily one of my good friends rolled one on withy, hope he'll stay on it!

Thats quite funny as today there was just me and Raz on for about an hour and a half. There were 5 Freeps including a decently geared minstrel and a 10k morale captain, what did they do? They hugged STAB. Its a pity we had some good fights we got some kills, after one wipe in Lug as they stupidly tried to take it the mincer logged and so did the cappy -.- Like come on a level 62 warden was there for christ sake, constantly dying but still coming back, man up.

Eventually Raz left so me Nacho and Curu grouped up against 5 inclding 3 RKs we were on the lawn of Tol, no Npcs bar a few that were patrolling. We charge at a Rk Galbroin I think, he runs back to SB -.- That constantly happened, you say we shouldn't hug -.- Its stupid.

Anyways Curu raged and logged so did I Ps I dinged Rank 4 Thanks to Lithard for those 2 last renown I needed

Second Edit: We didn't hug Npcs at all bar from me and Raz in Tol, we were hitting and running.

I have not been online 2 days now as i must work at weekends from morning to evening sadly so i don't know what is going on now but as i can see it's the same stuff like on most of other servers ''NPC hugging"

I must agree with Cillion and Razeil here. As ya know i hate hugging NPC too and prefer open fights but ...
let me explain something. "Hugging NPC" can be in bad light or good. Players shouldn't throw tantrum if an example 2 freeps hugging NPC while 6+ creeps are arround. There is no way no matter what, that these 2 freeps will kill even 1 single creep. Dying is a part of PvMP and players should accept that, once they will kill an enemy player and another time they will die. But for sure most players will do everything to not die so i will completly understand 2 lonely freeps who know that against 6 creeps they have no chance. Also these 6 creeps shouldn't get angry that these 2 freeps trying survive like any other PvMP player in ettenmoors. None like to be farmed and prefer good fights am i right?

I think at the moment we can't blame freeps or creeps for what they do. Turbine gave us soo much things in PvE that freep players will try do their best to get best gear and be ready for ettenmoors. Creep players have no gear and what we "creeps" need are ranks to get some new skills. I agree with ya guys also that for getting ranks we need leave NPC behind and try to fight with freeps in open, but i must say i agree here with Razeil: Low rank creeps wont kill anything "sadly" without help of some NPC. Full geared freep can on his own kill 2-3 low rank creeps (depends from class and how low rank is of the creep ofcourse !!). And as im happy that i see more freeps coming to ettenmoors i must say im sad that i still can see only few creeps online and these are low ranks.

I wont blame an example 5 low rank creeps (0-3 rank) who are trying little get a help NPC in OC against 9 freeps who have really good gear and also very important they know good their classes and have an experience in ettenmoors fight. Atm i have seen those low rank creeps are completly new players, who first time entered ettenmoors.

Anyway as much as i love open fights i must say Freeps should get little patience and forgive those low rank creeps hugging sometimes NPC. We have really nice people on our server and i'm thankful that on forum, trolls didn't show up yet if there are any hehe

Ah i would forgot, also i must say and this is ofcourse normal for any raid/group leaders on freep/creep side, that if "One side" will try to take a Keep, "Second side" will defend it and will use NPC. Also fighting near Keeps can give some very nice ideas for flanks and unexpected attacks. Especialy near TA. To show my point i must say there are in ettenmoors a situations when :

You are outnumbered and ya need to stay near any Keep which belongs to you also it can be OC/EC. There are variable degrees of being outnumbered ofcourse !!

When it is only slighty, raid leader can wander arround and try get some fights without using any NPC.
Moderately outnumbered means that raid leader can wander arround and try to stay near Keep or OC/EC as it can be part of tactic (flanking etc) also if you got too many low ranks creeps or too many low lvls (or with very bad gear) freeps.
Heavily outnumbered means as everyone already know, that you "must" stay at Keep, OC/EC etc or very close, becouse there is nothing you can do. Even as much as you love open fights there is no shame at all that you "defending" your raid/group against much more opposite players.

When both sides got (few more/less) same numbers in raids/groups and also almost all are well prepared (some high ranks at creep side and some very good geared freep players) thats the best opportunity to get amazing full of adrenaline fights in ettenmoors !!! And no need even stand in open field and wait for an enemy raid but also you/we can run arround and flank or surprise our an enemy players. That gives a lot of adrenaline and "a lot" of work for 2 raid leaders !! Did it and love it !!

You are outnumbering, means you must be that "agressive side" ( also depends how strong you outnumber opposite side ofcourse). You can't wait for outnumbered players to come and fight you and get easy killed by your raid. It is you who must do something.

Ok thats all what i wanted to say, and i don't mean be rude or anything like that i just really wanna make our small ettenmoors be better and stay clear from silly GY camping. There are many tactics for any fight ocassion and sometimes even if you are the best raid leader you can be very surprised by opposite side who can defeat your raid/group. I have seen many good raid leaders on creep and freep side and i must say one from my best creep raid leaders is still reaver called Harmonizer who is trying make ettenmoors better.

I was on warg, in group with nacho and powerpickle, we kill some freeps. More show up, I log warleader. We are outnumbered 2 to 1 and there's 2 runekeepers and the rest are heavy armors. We charge failbarion, he runs to bridge, we chase him but gotta turn around, he runs back in and starts shooting, and repeat.

You're a poor runekeeper globarion, and running like a wuss won't learn you how to play.
Ask urself, how comes that narth can almost kill a warg and a reaver when he gets jumped, and you fail to even take 2k off.

Answer: You don't know ur class, u can't kite.

Start to practice on that, learn to use distracting winds, cold chill, the aoe daze, whatever it is that runekeepers keep throwing at us. And stop running like a wuss, k/d and rating mean nothing.

Btw Harmonizer was playing on WW for a bit, iirc we grouped up most of the time and he was in EC was naice.

Agreed with Curu, Its pathetic, Globarion was constantly running from us to hug SB, even though there were 5/6 freeps vs 3 low creeps. L2P, Learn 2 Die its the ettens if your going to constantly run and hug Npcs, don't come here. A level 61 captain and 62 warden had bigger ballz.

I think you will remember that yes we hugged the Npcs, but when it actually came down to the fighting, we were right in front of SB with no Npcs, we were always the first to attack, half the time we even pulled the whole of SB just to get some action. We never hugged npcs when we were attacking. The point we are trying to make is, he hugged the Npcs as soon as he got a little tiny damage, and his little green bar lost some morale.

On a side note: Your Braxten, Bram? Epic. Is fun fighting you xD

We stay near the npcs, so you guys finally get ur lazy asses of stab, then we attack you without any npcs, or with 1 or 2 depending on numbers. Furthermore, we do not have ranged, there are no BAs on this server. 70% of the freeps is ranged.

Some nice group fights the last few days, but getting killed by rk in 2 hits is no fun

Yeah its been a fun weekend, took my Mighty Hobbit Warden out for a trip with 1 of my Kin, even at lvl 60 with bad kit.

Still had a ton of fun.
The only thing I think is a bit wrong is the time lock out from going to the moors as a Freep, would have liked to have swapped to my Reaver and evened up the teams, seems unfair you can`t log out your creep and go straight to your freep and go into the moors, like you can from creep to freep. Plus I really do like the Reaver!!
