Yes thank you for reminding, allow me to do it officially since we do not intend to hijack a HoF wednesday, therefore we are doing the main event in somewhere else than HoF.

I have sent numerous invitations abroad since Galdorion and Rainith are getting married tonight, 1hr prior to HoF in Imlad Gelair (Secret Valley) Rivendell. 18 UK 19 CET

If you are an elf and residing in Rivendell naturally you are welcome to attend, though you would need to ensure Acq rep with Rivendell faction to enter secret valley.

If you are not particularly invited and are not an elf, then perhaps its best to log your Elf? If you insist, we have no means to stop you of course since its a public spot but I believe the bride would be happier if you did not

After the actual wedding we are planning to have the afterparty in HoF, food and drinks will be served and dances will follow. Pretty much the same HoF stuff, just there will be a newly wed couple.

Anyway, that was the first time I've ever attended one of these, and I didn't really get involved in the Roleplay, as everyone seemed to know each other there, and I was just standing on the outskirts of the crowd. I'm sure I'll try and get some roleplay next week, however.

Trick: ther eis people who allways inclure new faces, example is MIrineth, if you see her go close, she will notice you, and maybe ask your name, I did this before when my main was in Rivendel but I placed her in ERed Luin, Isilmewen, I allways tried to include new faces.

But best advice is aproach and say: Mae Govannen.

Currently working alongside the elves in Thinglad south of Lothlorien trying to ease the tension between the Rohirrym and the Warders of Lothlorien.

More and more people from your timezone find their way to Laurelin. This was originally a European server and the weekly HoF meeting is a long running event series. But! Poke your friends from your timezones and create your own HoF as a follow up?

I was unaware of Laurelin's history, though it does explain who it seems so empty at times. I chose Laurelin because I figured the RP enforced nature would cut down on griefing jerks, or at least they would do it in character, which would take some of the edge off.

I haven't met anyone else from my timezone, or many others for that matter, but I wil try to get something going.

Just to say, Isil went back to Ered Luin, and she won't attend HoF for a long time.

Imladris is a great place to seek out Elven role play both Bar En Vanimar and the Warband of Imladris call Imladris their home and thus they base a lot of their storylines from there. The wonderful atmosphere is the perfect Elven setting whether its to attend a gathering or to seek out the Elven healers of Imladris.

The Warband can often be found patrolling the borders of Imladris from the Misty Mountains to the Ancient ruins of Ost Guruth should anyone come seeking them out. Feel free to get in touch should you be on your way to Rivendell and would welcome a chance encounter with some of its inhabitants.

With the travelling of the Lady Mirineth to Ered Luin it falls upon the others of Imladris to remind everyone that Wednesdays is known as the day the Elves gather in the House of Lord Elrond. They gather to share a glass of wine and exchange news from around the realm.

Things the merchantilers coming and going to Imladris might be talking about:-

The Warband of Imladris have been seen coming and going around the borders of Imladris - what news?

Some say the Order of the Hammer is resupplying to head out of Imladris once more - truth or rumour?

When the Warbands last patrol returned to Imladris they were in the company of another company of elves - who are they?

The cost of goods coming from the west has dropped of late in Imladris - why so?

Has Lord Earinlin left Imladris with his Lady Companion for they have not been seen in recent time - if so why?

This weekly event is designed for those who love Elven RP. General purpose is enjoyment. The majority will come to listen to the poems, tales and music. Some like to read or have a more personal get-together in one of the many corners of the hall.

A general Code of Conduct for the event.
1) We're all guests under the roof of the very wise Elrond (even if from a different race), and all are equal (please avoid OOC authority debates)
2) Weapons are inappropriate in an environment like this
3) This event is not designed to be official business or council, it is just a peaceful gathering

All races are welcome just have a story why you are passing by Imladris or staying for a while., but the main focus is that this is an elven gathering.


Should anyone have any great difficulty due to level getting to Imladris then send a 'whisper (IM)' to Khalis.
