Another Friday at the Dragon! Should be a fine one too; songs and poems have already been offered, and there are news to gossip about. Welcome hobbits!

Sadly, travels bring me somewhere else again today

Well had a wonderful time tonight,was my first time and it was really fun.The time went bye so fast which was a shame.

The bagpipes were umm an interesting addition and the jumping song was a giggle.

Like to thank you all for running this event and the time and effort that goes into it that keeps it moving along and active.

Now that caught my attention whilst skimming the forum after days of imposed neglect. Rurydoc is Lothilia's husband, and he's enjoying fishing, and boundering IC'ly. OOC'ly, he left the game a long, long time ago, and I miss him very much.

Well if he would be able to get the darn game to install then maybe he would come back...?

Jimothy you say? Eh, umm, you know what Lotti, I just realized I must have lost my favorite hunting knife on my last trip. I better head back and look for it.

Nevermind, I did overlook what server this event is on. Actually read it 3 times but it just didn't register to me that it was the server.

They say it is Friday again, and that can only mean... Green Dragon Friday! Same place, same time, same thing, but perhaps a few new hobbit visitors? As always, hobbits, come fer a lively night at the inn, with music, dance, poems, chat and the latest in Shire news!

I missed it again!
So busy lately I just forget that fridays are greendragon nights
Hopefully I can join next week again, maybe entering a bit later due to kin-activities.

The good thing about Fridays? They're always Green Dragon Fridays! We've even been promised some new poems, so here's hoping that the hobbits turn up in numbers as usual!

Some even say it is Green Dragon Pie Day! No matter which, we're in Bywater as usual tonight, and hobbits all over are welcome for music and dance, poetry, riddles and news. Oh, and perhaps some pie!

Yay! and with luck I can get there this week! Ole barmy will be wondering why his takings were down last week

Well this was my first 'Green Dragon Friday' and I enjoyed myself immensely. So thanks to all my fellow Hobbits for a great time and am looking forwards to the next one.

i sure do wonder if there will be any yule inspired theme going on tonight * puts the tea kettle on the stove before heads down to the cellar to get a bottle of wine*

It was an other great evening.
Lucky we got the music started later on It was a great first time preformance

There were a few nervous Hobbit's in the room plus one worried Dwarf, but it all came good in the end. I not sure it gets any easier but I can but hope.

Hehehe, a first time is always scary. But you get used to it ^^
There is a lovely patient crowd in the green dragon.

Lucky it wasn't my own first preformance, but it was in duo form. Lucky it ended well afterall

Sad to say I can't introduce the other member of our band, nor play with them tomorrow.
But I'm not that addicted to lotro that I would leave my own (reallife)weddingparty tomorrow for some green dragon

Anyway, it is Friday, which means, as usual, Green Dragon Friday! 8PM GMT in Bywater, welcome hobbits!

Another great Green Dragon Friday hosted by Master Simbo in the absence of Miss Lina. Music from at least three new players and a few tunes from some of the regulars made for some good dancing.

It is Friday again, and it'll be another hobbit inn night in Bywater! Full of news and music, dancing and drinking, and whatever else we can think of!

As always, keep the general event guidelines in the first post of the thread in mind if yer plan to participate. Welcome hobbits!

Green Dragon yule party

A yule-themed Green Dragon Friday! Hobbits all over are invited to celebrate yule Bywater style! And if yer have yule-themed music, stories, poetry or similar yer would like to perform, don't hesitate to sign up!

Date: December 23rd, 2011
Time: 8PM GMT/3PM servertime
Location: Green Dragon inn, Bywater

Yule is an important celebration for hobbits, which the amount of yule parties recently certainly shows. Even though many hobbits stay home with their family and loved ones during the yule days, quite a few want to meet with their friends as usual.

So it is no big surprise that Barmy over at the Green Dragon wants to get in on the yule festivities this year (not least since he closed the inn for renovations last year, and lost much in the way of coin because the regulars went to the Bird and Baby instead).

While the event will follow the usual Green Dragon format, it is especially grand if the entertainment offered has a yule theme to it, be it songs, stories, poems, riddles or similar. Welcome hobbits!

Oh, and plans are afoot fer the Green Dragon end of year party as well, December 30th!

OOC details:
This is Green Dragon Friday, but with a yule-ish theme to it. Usual guidelines apply, which means that this is a hobbit-preferred event, with a few traveling dwarves welcome.

If yer know yer have some entertainment to offer the crowds, send a message or sign up during the night. We'll try to add in as much as possible within the regular two-hour duration of the event.
