Thread: PvMP on Eldar (Part 4)

It seems the last week or so whenever I log on there is a freep raid out trying to farm solo's.

I know the creeps have done this exact thing in the past but now it seems these awful style of play has crossed sides.

freeps r getting hacked off with the wargies packs roaming the gy 2bh. think thats why so many take it out on any creep they c.
so many wargies around peeps feel a bit safer in numbers
i prefer solo, charging in an smacking summit then hiding behind the biggest tanky on tol lawn :P
but it is a pain in the butt when u do die an u get constantly ganked by the pack on ur way back 2 the fite......

I used NS after you were dead to get morale back up. didnt help me much when the raid roflstomp me immediately after though.

Also I was fighting you in Assailment stance in melee range (i.e. cant use any skills) for the lulz and i killed you with just gambit builders. What can i say i was bored.

plus u NS b4 i died it was my revenge that wud of gotten the kb and wat triggerd ur NS so u had clicked it b4 fight was ended meaning u were planning 2 b4 fight ended,, plus wat stance u play in or wat way u fight is ur boggle u still were lame in fight u didnt fight the way u boasted in ur posts.

if you want to have a 1v1 fight ill give you as many as you want mate. but youre no threat and no fun. i have to tie both hands behind my back to make it interesting.

using NS as you died was fun. denying YOU the kb made it all that much sweeter.

wait till rohan comes grind like another 8 ranks of audacity just so you can get 2 shot and not 3 shot(so fun) making the gap for new players impossible to compete.

PvMP is getting a pretty substantial content update; we're reworking the Ettenmoors capture mechanics to focus your rewards around killing other players – not killing NPCs.

oh yea this will fix everything all they have to do is add some typo fixes, 12 months work done.

no new instances and all this for 40$-70$(10$ more than Isen was for basic) can you believe it? what a DEAL!!

it's like they want people to leave, I sure lost hope for this game which is sad cause I really liked it.

Why dont u 2 get it out measure it an b done or better yet raven make a new post titled Ravenstride vs the moors
so we can all get back 2 having fun chatting about the state of pvp and our happy or ###### thoughts about pvp and achievements or just messing bout with each other.

get with the program Deni. The only decent PvP left on Eldar is on these forums.

Hey, I agree. This is no where near Ban-able or even just Thread Closure levels but this is only page 42. You have to build up to epic 500+ page threads.

Well it is starting to look like some of the freep so called raid leaders are trying to kill what little action there is.

Today that Burg Faerdeo has a raid and is charging around zerging the solo creep players.

Is this really how players want the game to be played?

Constant keep flipping and then using a raid to zerg and farm people.

Poor Performance.

It seems that way. Though I've personally seen raid leaders (Reth, Chergex naturally, and others) disband as soon as the creep raid disbands.

What I am more concerned about tbh is that raids disband as soon as the other side has one. Or after 2-3 wipes.

Clearly no one cares about the fights any longer. Small fellowships farming Lug GY is all the rage.

I haven´t been in the moors the past few days, but am watching global most of the time.

Recently it seems theres a freep raid from early afternoon up into the evening. Donno if theres been a creep raid the whole timespan as well, but I doubt it.

Can´t say anything about if it was necessary, as i mentioned i wasn´t there.

As Raven wrote and myself wrote in OOC few times: Some just don´t know when its the right time to disband a raid.

yday freeps had raid for few hours, but creeps had raid too leaded by, corect me if I'm wrong, Ironbones, Doomex.... It was a fight raid vs raid, and I'm sure that some solo players were zerged... it happens all time...

IMO camping in front of gy is poor performance and as Azogg said: "Is this really how players want the game to be played?"

Grey, yes after a while of the freep raid roaming the map a creep raid was made and for 2 hours we had some good raid V raid fighting

Then the creep raid disbanded and of course the freep lead raid decided to then camp the GY. Even performing an epic flank on 8 creeps near the GY.

Once there is only one raid, just disband this constant camping or forming a zerg train is poor. Both sides have done it.

lol indeed plus the fact this is been like this for over 6 months no surprise there, there will always be nabs that roll the stronger classes just to get easy kills for their next pointless rank.

I have typed this message yesterday and only today it shows due to the ridiculous lag in Etten.

But yesterday's lag was one of the worst ever, we had ppl die by falling injuries midst fight, I so long that I even got out of combat in the middle of the battle-field. Frame Per Second is no longer the correct measurement, we have to fall back to Frame(s) Per Minute

After 5 years i started creeping just few months ago. Ofc for comms initially, but in the future will surely play otherwise too especially my spidey. Now i have all maps for all creeps and i wanna sum up things from a creep newbie perspective.

1) Respect to those few freeps who dont gank low ranks - at least didnt gank me on several occasions. Gunsman, Dairuin and few others whose name i forgot - thumbs up.

2) On freep, i leave low rank soloers nowadays be. Even for as bad player as me its like kicking babies. Learned that now.

3) In the future will not hips or run from fight but fight it till the end, at least on freep (somehow creeps have my sympathy if they leg out..). No idea really how i came to this conclusion but i just have.

4) The ton of double standards makes watching OOC so entertaining. When other side hugs npc etc.. they are cowards - when own side does its not giving free infamy/renown. etc...

5) Creeps are much more friendly and have less idiots. Sauron must be a nice guy after all.

6) I hate audacity now even more than when just freeping.

These sum up my feelings. Starting creeps was a good choice and wish fun for all there.

Indeed, although more than a year that it is like this. I remember last summer, before RoI, it was endless lug gy camping as well.

Hey worthless scum, yesterday Doomex had a pretty awesome raid. I decided to record it and promised to upload it to youtube. My payed Fraps failed so I'd to reinstall the trial version. Every 30 seconds I'd to press F9 to record, which made targetting pretty hard. So that's why, at the beginning of every new clip, I couldn't target the RAT immidiately.

I had no time to edit and shorten it, neither did I try to add any effects to the video. I just pasted all clips after each other and rendered it.
Feel free to mock at the quality of the music, Doomex voice (unfortunately barely hearable) and the general boringness of the video itself.

On a related note and in a poor attempt to start some entertaining to read flamewars: you guys are all &&&&ing idiots, champions and invincible and minstrels are just plain overpowered. Anyone playing that class simply because they are overpowered are pathetic.
