I'm thinking of jumping ship from Arkenstone in favour of a server with more activity during GMT evenings, everything seems to happen in the early morning hours on Ark which makes it really difficult to find freeps.
How's the activity on Eldar? I'm not fussed about ganking, creeps/freeps camping OC/EC or anything like that because it happens everywhere, also, is the server creep or freep heavy?
lol azogg.. my post was meant to be light hearted.. no bleating here
to mr. transfer dude:
eldar pvp is not great at the moment, but you will find plenty of activity in the evenings. creep/freep distribution is pretty even tbh, with both sides usually being able to muster a raid if the need arises (or in most cases, does not).
i would perhaps consider just rolling a freep, getting it to 10 and then checking out pvp on a greendot before you pay for a transfer. you may not like what you find here.
Thanks, was planning on giving it a go on a new reaver anyway to start with but wasn't sure which EU server to go for. Eldar, Evernight and Snowbourne seem to be the bigger ones and rather than roll three new freeps I thought I'd ask first
ye atm we can´t really speak about action. it seems there enaugh freeps online at some point, but you find only a few fighting against a creep group. the rest must be busy questing or whatever. also i miss lots of names on freep side, which i´d say has to do with the fixed exploit of summoning f2p people into the moors.
and creep OOC still works great compared to freeps.
flippers got their needed comms also it seems, as the map been quite red for a while. and i find it still easier to get comms on creep side, which some freeps surely use/used for their advantage.
recently the huge warg packs aren´t roaming anymore so it´s kinda "save" to leave GV for others too.
anyways we got some good fights, but overall i miss the good old fights, as mick wrote, also.
and i am not sure if fights are lasting that much longer with audacity, as it was the basic idea of this pvp stat.
maybe its just a feeling from myself.

hope dies last :P
If more had your attitude of having a real fight and having a go no matter the odds the action all over the map would be better.
last few weeks? the action has been poor for many months now, I wouldn't call mass group/raid zergs(not talking about proper RvR) and pew pew fights action, not even close.
where are the the days we had 10+ min fights RvR near tir gy constantly retreating and coming back without caring about deaths, the days we had massive fights near tir hs\woods above x roads, the days raids didn't avoid each other just to flip another keep, the days we had great raid fights every night, when the fights were all over various places and not constant pew pew(ye that pew pew was always there but not as much as now) the days we would charge 2 raids with 1 not being afraid to die as long as we got some kills, when we just randomly charged a keep with a full raid in it not caring what will happen.
where are those days you ask? those days are long gone when turbine dropped a large #### on the moors and made many leave.
I miss the old creep/freep raid leaders and players most if not all already left sadly.
the only thing audacity does is make your death a bit slower there is 0 point for it in the moors and only creates another ''fun'' and useless grind, it is a poorly implemented feature just like commendations.
And Rug&others, I agree, Eldar has been changed to a zerg-society. Its zergzergzerg and log off all to often. Which is the main reason you hardly see me around anymore, I restarted from scratch on another server a while ago, a shame really as Eldar is home but if I can't enjoy the situation on Eldar Etten for a long time in a row I had to look for a better environment.
It has to be said that very poor play by creeps today, they decided to flip TIR back for the 2nd time by midday. Seems as soon as a few freeps come out a good number of creeps are QQing for a raid.
Not enough people from both sides want to have small group fights or solo and duo fights anymore.
It is all about the farm and killing so many for zero risk to yourself.
The downside of this that those of us who are duo etc get caught in raid frustration by freeps.
Lets hope that sense returns soon and we can have fights all over the map without the need for the constant raid to zerg a few players
Lately, I've been having more fun sneaking around the moors on my lvl ~50 burg trying not to get one shotted than doing any actual pvp. Says it all really.
I have to say I find it amusing to see creep complaining about the current state of affairs. I know that its not all of you but the fact is that I still see more Freeps running around solo than Creeps.
I solo most of the time. Even if I mind my own business and do a bit of pve around the edges of the map (cause lets face it he middle is all Zerg territory) then I'm bound to come across another solo pve creep. In most situations i wont give chase. I know the odds are stacked in my favour against any single creep and I dont go out of my way to ruin people's fun. But, alas, more often then not I will get attacked. When the fight does not go their way (even with 5-6 npcs on me) then I know I should start running. Because once again the nearest map point starts spewing the usual suspects and I'm about to be ganked by 5-6 creep that mapped all the way there to come kill me. Tbh i find the attention flattering. Either that or you guys really care about the poor Gobos of Grothum.
So, in my opinion, you want to get better action in the Moors again? you need to get people like Blindings running your show again. The latest batch of creep Raid Leaders are nothing but a bunch of cowardly Zerg-bangers.
Case in point i'll run around solo. Ill get zerg by their crew of 6-8. I'll form a kin group and 5 minutes later a full creep raid is in maximum zerg mode.
You all laughed at Rokkin cause he took some keeps to change the dynamics of pvp once in a while. Yes he did it so we can have some variety in the fights and not JUST fight at Cows or X-Roads. Keep fights can be fun too. Look at what you have today. Everyone running around doing nothing but pve for commendations.
It is just horrible to try to solo anything on freep side at the moment, the endless hoardes of creeps post in /ooc every single freep they find and they all map in to zerg them.
Or that just Webss or someone else has a group running around zerging.
I agree with most of the points made by the freep players about the creep zerg. But it does happen the other way around still.
Last night me and bini were duo as normal when we saw a couple of freeps we attacked them and as we killed them 5 or 6 freeps turned up and then a few more just to make certain.
Still we got some good points in the fight but prefer 2 v 2 or 2 v 3 is ok but 8 on us is a bit much.
That is pretty much whats happening at the moment. yesterday i found it a fun fight back and forth between oc and tol, also strength was nearly equal with few more creeps online so theres been kills on both sides.
well until some funny group decided to take the flag from lug and i am pretty sure webss decided then to zerg the party. i was called to pve from kin which was very welcome at that time for me.
its not allways bad, but some noobs can make it even worse. creeps got the numbers so i can´t blame em when they been engaged to form a zerg raid as map was blue at that point. and some poor minded freeps have been the reason at this time. ofc it happens sometimes without a reason too.
it would have happened anyways, but i think we would have got a little bit more time to have fun fights before the raid has been formed to end the party.
Raid vs Handful...... bad for both sides but this seems how a few people earn their rank these days.
A few people i think are playing a few different games as i don't seem to see the same people as before maybe it would bring the balance of numbers back in-line i hope.
The hypocrisy I see in creep OOC never fails to amaze me..
the times that I even bother playing I need my head examined after seeing all the nonsense that goes on OOC like you say, the most ridicule thing I saw lately is someone screaming for help on OOC cause there was a freep duo near cows(ofc he didn't mention it is 2) the zerg train soon followed.
creep side is but a shadow of it's former glory, too many just looking to ez mode their rank what's the point of getting rank 13 if all you did is zerg 10 freeps with a raid 24/7? pointless and effortless achievement.
sad to say it but that is what is happening I got nothing against those that do it but there's a simple fix for it, don't play.
I haven't played in other servers but eldar's pvp is just sad! No more fun in it... And the good old pvp players who have left are allready a fact. "Matut"

Well said Gunsman, couldn't agree more with your points. Good to see you and others finally calling these fools out.
The hypocrisy I see in creep OOC never fails to amaze me..
I'm slightly puzzled by your 'hypocrisy' comment since it's clear, even with the names blanked out, that one person made the first set of comments and another person made the second comment. Also, for those who aren't aware, the first set of comments were made when there were about 10 or so creeps being camped at Lug gy - and hardly any logged on at all (and no, I don't count people like 'Reaverrezzer' and 'Amtotallynotaspy' or whatever it's called) - by raid+ freep numbers. So:
1) Why would you stay logged on, try to fight so many freeps, and inevitably die?
2) Making a raid with so few creeps logged on simply wasn't possible, even if we'd wanted to
Perhaps an hour later things were different, and we did have enough creeps on to make a raid. I've no idea, since I'd already logged off by then.
Yes, it is very clear, I never intended it to be otherwise nor did I intend to show anyone up. My point is that this is the general attitude of not all, but most creeps and the spread of it is ruining PvP, as many others have pointed out before me. I've had ENTIRE RAIDS purposefully form and hunt me down to kill me when I have been DUOING. Seriously..

You make good points but the freeps are just as guilty of this poor playing style. Many times nowadays i am roaming around the map in a duo when a group of 10+ will come and gank.
So make the points by all means but do not limit it to only the creep side and freep players are also do the lame action
Yeah fair play Azogg. Freeps are guilty of it too, but not to the extent creeps are imo. Maybe I see it with rose-tinted glasses, but normally when freeps do it, it seems to be in reaction to creeps doing it.. it's probably a chicken and egg scenario here, but just calling it how i see it
Reaaaaallly wargs you have to use brands to beat my hunter 1v1 ? I am disappoint other than that semi fun night from 10-12 tonight . On another sad note the lets all stand around and not attack each other was kinda disappointing

Making movies, Making music and Fighting round the world
I really don´t get the thoughts of some freeps. theres some sort of pvp happening right now and some braindead freeps moarn for a pve raid to get keeps. no wonder pvp is strugling.
1. Freeps make PvE raid and flips map ruining action (as Gunsman says above me [was logged in and saw this too...])
2. Low-rank creeps make raid, because they don't manage to get any inf. on their own.
There has been really nice fights the last few days at SB-Tol-WB-OC, and as long as numbers stay roughly the same on both sides and noone starts a raid it can go on for a long time with massive inf/renown.
I don't really mind one side making a raid if they're being farmed, only way to stop it other than massive log, and that's even more boring.
I normally like to see things from both sides but this evening really has been poor with the number of freeps running around on mass killing solos creeps is poor.
I know what will be said how creeps do the same thing, but this evening it was the creeps who dont normally join raids yet they are being fed by the constant zerg train.
The days of small group fights or solos fight seem to be over.
Do people not enjoy a good fight anymore? How is it fun to just roam around zerging ppl non stop?
Never mind my weekly moan over time to dry my tears
