When you find your cahones again and lead like you used to. What happened? I know freeps are a bit OP now, but lately all freeps just sigh when they hear Harmo is leading and we can chase you all around the map with the Benny Hill Theme Song on... And we eventually wind up going into TA with the horn up, desperate for some action and wipe. But no we dont map out or run, we actually wipe.

Palin has a different leading style, he likes open fights and he doesnt care about fighting with half numbers, and wipe over and over. Personally i find nothing wrong with Harmo's playing. On the other hand, if you feel for it, get your reaver, join Palinkirk and get farmed by freeps, i ll log my warden, knock you down and get zerged before the 5s wear off. It will be fun i promise! :P. But...for me only. But isnt that, what we all want? To have fun only for us? others are the tools to make ME have fun, isnt it correct?

we? who is we? in witch name are you talking?

suicide raids get disbanded after 3 wipes, the majority of the people leave or get bored after 3 wipes, we see it every day

it's far more interesting a session where there is two good raidleaders fighting with brain and worried about winning one to each other that the usual fightclubbing you do arranging battles in the hotspots knowing you don't have any kind of posibilities to win

No you don't. All the suicide raids I've been in haven't wiped more than once.

Yeah, I've seen it, two raids facing off over a bridge and doing nothing for a few hours. Superb entertainment. You've obviously mistaken me for someone else. I have never arranged a battle 'at a hotspot', and never 'fightclubbed' as you've called it. I never call a raid if I don't think theres a possibility of winning.

To chase someone around first you have to know where he is.

Judging by the amount of time you guys got ambushed last night, it is a lesson that after 4 years you (the freeps) still have not learned.

But the real cause of all your wipes was the failure to tell your LMs to keep their pets under control. The amount of times we made you pull the tyrant and all his friends...someone should have been court-martialed for it.

We gave as good as we got though, we stayed to defend LC against 40+ freeps twice with less than a full raid. No one was more surprised than us when we actually defended it the first time, then we wiped again in TR with the outnumbered buff on.

Our best course of action was to defend TA after that, something harm does well.
Then you wiped again because of truly poor coordination between the 2 freep raids, numbers were lost, we had a failed ambush but in the end more freeps than creeps logged off and the day was ours.

At the end of the day, you guys had VASTLY superior numbers for a good part of the night, and knowing Pal is a good leader, and Willgar probably is too, the fault can only lie with the soldiers who failed to execute their orders, a problem that tonight we did not have on our side.

So rather than blame Harm, maybe look at yourself and wonder why we can wipe 40 freeps with half the numbers, I assure you, it isn't our OP DPS.

Thats totally not the point... Palin actually comes out to fight without NPCs, then when he is heavily outnumbered we will actually charge a keep to make it easier for him and have a high chance of wiping. If you do that with Harmo's style atm he will map out and wait for you at TA. Saying that, there are a few other things Palin wouldnt do or do very very rarily, which is zerging EC or wiping bottom floor of a keep to farm loners. (and yes I know freeps should just log off or group up then, but the intention from the creep leader is the same)

And Gutterat.... the old "feel sorry for you-get a life" argument? Seriously? /facepalm.

We all know what this is all about cmon. Palin likes to kill on whichever cost. With the current imbalance, that mostly results in getting wiped. I do join him alot , and i ll keep doing it. But saying that Harmo makes freeps get bored, reminds me of "creeps must be second hand players, and offer us fun" thingy. Chase him around the map and be suicidal yourself ignoring his keep-hug as you say, if this is all about.

P.S Gutterat, i ve been joining suicidal raids since the age of Eldacal in 2007. Its futile to enlighten me about those.

Re: Burning the world tree: Freeps and Creeps of Laurelin

coordination between freepraids was a bit lacking yesterday when I was on lm for first time since years, freeps did have the numbers but did not consolidate them often enough. Also both raids had a horrible setup most of the time, worst class balance ever when almost half the freeps online are hunters, how did that happen? And yes there were lm's pulling stuff continiously as I tried to point out in the raid I was in.

And there was quite a bit of Harmo hating in the raid for silly reasons =P funny to see it from the other side for a change, gives some perspective on both sides. But the result as I saw it was that some freeps felt like playing just as "lame" as they accused the creeps of doing, vicious circle. I think a good example of why Harmo is more cautious was the 30s flat wipe of creeps when they did get out of Tol. I think someone on freepside said: "I don't know why people even join Harmo's raids anymore." It's the same reason freeps log when they get wiped continiously: everybody likes to win and noone likes to lose without a chance.

Trust me i ask multiple times go find the creep raid for me, don't wanna get suprised. Mostly noone responses and it's not like we have maps to scout all over the map.

And lm's .. aren't they RPing some wise class? Pet pulls .. -.- happens way too often. That said spiders with their new pet are doing great too.

Re: Burning the world tree: Freeps and Creeps of Laurelin

Thanks for the fights this afternoon Creeps.

It was hard to get a bit of balance until your numbers picked up a bit, I kept our raid under 24 and FL only until you had enough to wipe us outside LC - and you got a good surprise attack in there!

It seemed at times you were a bit over wary like when we had pulled LC NPCs a few times and were all disorganised, but there was a few soloers and small groups joining us by then so it was hard to judge.

I dont know how often your raid was filled after it got going but there were plenty of times when it seemed like we were quite strong and had to expose ourselves to give you an opportunity to make a good fight, but you did well and managed to take the fight to us a few times so thanks for making the effort - a few more numbers on your side and it could have been a more competitive afternoons fighting, it was nice to charge around after each other at LC and near TA, I hope you all enjoyed it and will be back for more!

Sunday was allways PvP day until a few months ago - me and Harmo got it going as I allways used to do Frontline raids on Sundays and he decided to try to get raids up then also so we wernt missing each other...

Day of the Dying sun he called it on the old forum - we in Frontline have allways called our event Sunday Slaughter!

I try to raid in the afternoon as I have a PvE alliance raid at 7 PM uk time so I start the raids and (hopefully) hand over to someone else at 6:30 ish, though back in the day 6 - 24 months ago I used to often lead for 10 -12 hours on a Sunday...

I dont mind doing it occasionally now - if the actions worth it...

Back then the trouble was outnumbering and/or over powered Creeps and not enough good Freep leaders...

    How times change!

Well, nice fights if you were in freep side.
Fighting against 55+ freeps makes difficult to get nice infamy.
We needed more BAs and less wargs in raid to try to defend TA against freep horde.
    And rat following, ofc...
Anyway thanks Celob and Palin for leading us.

That was the number on the tracking Joy, of course it could be bugged, but my scarrings tell me a different story.

Yep, i couldn't believe it, but we had full raid creep, about 10+ creeps more, and we got the buff.
Don't know how exactly buff works, but freep numbers cannot be far from 50-55.
Sadly we had no creeps enough to give everyone a crazy 2vs2 raids fight.
Anyway having this numbers in freep side is a good new, now only need to improve creep numbers to have a real pvp in our loved server.

Dangmol, linsay and Fruin (with wargs) are pathetic gank me after winning a spar, they did the same with Erohim and Cainor.

I can see that it is difficult for you to kill me even as a with many warg.

    Congratulations you are the best.
