    Master for prospectors.

Just blows. What's the point? VERY low crits and the only tools you can get are -seconds and not +crit anything. I WANT MORE CRITS WHEN I SMELT OR REFINE. Sick and tired of waiting for every 30th smelt. Needs to be changed.

The increased mining speed is far and away more valuable to me than an increased chance of crit smelting. I say leave it as is.

    We can't have both?

Though I agree, in the grand scheme of things, its not needed.

Thumbs down Re: Master for prospectors.

I do not agree with this. - mining time is enough. Turbine needs to address other crafting problems waaayyy before spoon-feeding like that is needed.

My suggestion would be to allow a macro to dismount+prospect. That way when you're out farming nodes, you just target the node, hit the macro and you're done. No more clicking dismount and then started to mine. Simple, but makes the process less frustrating, especially when you have people trying to steal your node while you are dismounting.

if you have a mouse that allows scripting of macros, you can assign a macro to one of buttons on your mouse to execute the dismount and prospect functions.

i have three macros assigned to my mouse now: one for my first two melee attacks, one for my interrupt, and the last to do exactly what you've just mentioned.

But no macro wizard in the game client to support this, right?

I wanted to buy a Razr Naga, but never got around to it...

    Re: Master for prospectors.

just change your keybindings. I've shifted my entire left hand keys over, so that my movements are e,s,d,f with w and r as the strafe... this leaves nearly all the other keys around my movements as selection keys. I now use 'H' for horse mount/dismount 'A' for selecting nearest item, 'T' for using selection (which also works for queuing up auto attacks) and other key-bindings that made sense to me at the time and still work. So, I approach a node on horse back and simply type HAT, and by the time the dismount animation is over I'm already a second or two into mining the node. (Yes, there are many animations that continue while you start or queue up another action/skill, dismount and mining being one of them.
