In the old north of Middle-Earth lived a proud race of wild horses, long-lived, wise and fleet of foot.They were called by men (particularly the Rohirrim) the Mearas. The legends of men said that their ancestors had been brought from the West by Béma, their name for the Vala Oromë.

We're a fun mid-sized kin on the Brandywine server, founded in early 2010. We have members of all different playstyles, levels and interests, who love to welcome new friends into the kin! We're always happy to help out new players to LOTRO as well, whether you've played other MMOs, or if this is your first.

Band together with our fearsome warriors and take on foes from the highest peaks of the Blue Mountains to the lowest valleys of the ashen wastes of Angmar!

Toil in the crafthalls of Middle Earth with friends, creating legendary weapons and armor to aid the Free Peoples - or bake a tasty flan for our next kin meeting!

Mount up your noble steed alongside allies and traverse across the land, seeing the spectacular sights and far-off places that you only dreamed of as a wee child!

Don your strongest gear and head to the most dangerous zones of Middle Earth together, fighting creatures in the darkness of Moria or the deepest chambers of Dol Guldur!

Take a break from your heroics and grab a seat around the kinhouse fire to discuss the finer points of LOTR lore - So does the Balrog actually have wings?!?

In other words, we enjoy questing, crafting, exploring, raiding, PvMPing, socializing, and everything else this game has to offer us!

We could really use some level 35+ plus guys too. Right now the 20s are having all the fun with their newfangled GBs and whatnot. I'd love to get some new people in to run with us.

That being said there IS always some one on. Seriously I've been trying to trip them up but someone WAS on at 6am. I wish I remembered his/her name so I could publicly ridicule them here. I suppose I've just done that to myself.

I signed up with the Riders a few months back and I never regretted it! These peeps are AWESOME!

We're hoping to expand our ranks of mid and upper level characters as many of us are approaching Isengard.

I'm specifically looking for late night peeps in the Pacific Time zone but we'll take folks from anywhere on the planet earth. Sauron doesn't sleep and we need to be relentless in our campaign against him.
