I play on Belegaer and have a char on Landroval for the sole purpose of taking part at Weatherstock :-)

Does it have to be in Landroval? Can't Gilrain make our own version?

This. Im playing on Laurelin, but went to Landroval and made and leveled char there for sole purpose of seeing Weatherstock.

Your own Event you mean? Sure, but to produce an event server wide requires quite a bit of organization.


This is how many volunteers it takes to put on Weatherstock. We do "Tweeting", live streaming, Announcing, interviewing with Middle Earth Network, Casual Stroll to Mordor sites, You Tube, and other sites I cant remember.

This event on Landroval is open to any band from any server. What is needed is for any prospective band members to roll toons over here, Get with the LMB for outfits and mentoring and get ready to rock. Takes about 1 to 2 hours to clear the beginner zone.

Now, if you happen to win any one of 3 separate prizes,... 100 gold each, my guess is you gotta spend it here!

Our security team takes their job very seriously, so the road to Weatherstock will be safe for characters of all levels.

Just curious--how do bands sign up? And do they have to play their own made up music? And has there ever been any bands from the Brandywine Server?

I have very little musical ability but know of a few people who do and might be interested in joining in Weatherstock 2013 if not 2012.

You can sign up at the Weatherstock 2012 topic on these forums. Most of the music played is not original, though it is often modified quite a bit from the originals. There are generally bands from other servers, but I do not know if any have come over from Brandywine. I imagine someone else here will know and post a more detailed reply than this.

If you are not on Landroval heres what you and your troupe should do;

1. Get with your band members and decide if you want to enter THE biggest and THE richest band competition in LOTRO.
2. Roll alts on Landroval and get out of the beginner instance. 1 to 2 hours.
3. Contact The Lonely Mountain Band by game mail or shout out to get uniforms of your choice and mentoring in musical instruments.
4. Get ready for that fateful day.

Prize pool is going to be at least 300 gold! And bragging rights will be pretty valuable also!

Weatherstock IV!!!! Far-out man.....lol. Landroval Tobiee (Lvl 7) went to Weatherstock III
last year and had a ball. Getting to the summit was no problem, there were so many folks
on the road heading that way, nothing came near.

Lag?....well yeah, but Tobiee just dialed his Graphics back to medium and turned off Floating Names and everything was nice and smooth.

This sounds like a lot of fun! Having only been playing about 7 months myself I'd never heard of tho event before but I CAN'T WAIT now!

Its great to see Andúnië joining up for their first Weatherstock! Looking forward to seeing many new bands this year!

It's really silly and very confusing for those who are going to take part in Weatherstock 2012.

Please, please, GMs, transfer the signup posts back to a separate thread. You don't merge Landroval coffee posts, do you? Then why do it with Weatherstock?
