Thread: Farmer and Cook looking for work (and price guide)

New Farmer in town, willing to take any commissioned work that I am able to accomplish.

My wife is a Cook who will be leveling her skill up soon, same thing goes.

What I was wondering though, since im relatively new to the game. Is what items from both professions are good to sell.

Specifically the rares from farming. There is such a broad range of them, and I never see them up on the AH. I asked on the farming forums, and they said its server specific. I have a bunch of green onion skins and bundles of straw and lily of the valley leaf, no idea what I should be putting them on the AH for.

The only tip I can give you - if that character want's to join the cooks guild - check first what ingredients you will need for your rep repasts. You might be surprised how much you will need.
Next check the higher level buff foods, if memory serves me correct there are some low level ingredients still used in those as well. Perhaps those will sell if the higher level players are too lazy to farm and cook that themselves.

Other than that the odd crit will be used for some dye's, so scholars could buy it. A bundle of straw is used for making traps (weaponsmith) ... long story short, check which ingredients are used by others.

I don't craft to make profit so I can't give you tips on selling based on experience.
