We wiped the fight once (no resetting the boss) and got two chests. May be worth a try.
finally saw this today on T2, definitely makes it a more exciting ending. Also, since the fight took us longer to complete due to the full heal we did not get a sword... further feeding our kin's superstitious belief that dps strat = sword lol.

We had Gortheron reset (on T2) on the final phase last week (before the update), so that's not exactly new with the update.

Well, at least they have acknowledged the 2nd chest bug in Ivar, and suggested a workaround.
Sorry for posting here, but I thought I'd bump this up, but also and trying to find a thread that shows that Baingrist is bugged? I searched forums, google and could not find it.

The missing OD horse is now a known issue, which they will be fixing in a future update. Additionally, Baingrist clicky not working as intended either....

Adding to the bug list a few things:
1) Durin's Bane can (randomly as far as I can tell) fail challenge mode when all players are facing the boss. It seems that the TANK does not always count as facing the boss, even after the first Face you Fears attack which was previously believed to be the only bugged attack. This can happen for any of the face your fears attacks. And it can happen even if your tank stays in place and does not move. The only way it seems to work every time is if you one-shot the boss (no resets).
2) Platform bug (a player is permenantly on a platform even after exiting the platform) still occurs in Poison boss, although rarely.Last edited by ofMiceandHobbits; Jul 07 2011 at 06:08 PM.

Oh yes I experienced this one personally last week. It was after we had swapped and everyone was back in their places. My platform collapsed and one of the people who had swapped with me was watching me and confirmed I had not stepped off and nobody had gotten on.

There's a list of stuff they'd really like to do soon.
There's a list of stuff it would be cool to do if there's time.

How about that phase 1 poison debuff?
You literally have a second to pot it (give or take 0.1s)
Nothing like having to keep your eyes glued to the chatbox instead of the action on the screen. All the other debuffs give secondS. Not second. Can't be intended. Buffbars can't even proc it in time...unlike every other curable debuff in the game.
Don't forget some of us old guys still play the challenging content, eh... but this is ridiculous.

I certainly miss my share of the poison debuffs, but when our tank is calling it out for us it never seems to be a problem. You do have 2 seconds to clear it (wow, two whole seconds! Yeah, I know that's not a lot of time). Aside from making the tank responsible for calling out people's names so that they know to remove a debuff, the other thing that seems to help is having debuff removal pots hotkeyed somewhere rather than relying on getting a mouse pointer to a spot and clicking on them.
(Honestly, it's never occurred to me that folks would have morale/power/debuff pots on anything other than hotkeys, but apparently people do. Anyway, once you get used to the pots being hotkeyed somewhere, 2 seconds is enough time to process "my name was called -> hit Shift-8". I also don't use BuffBars or any other plugins - perhaps reliance on the plugins has actually made people a bit slower to react to things like this? I don't know.)
Induction classes may have it a bit tougher, though, as I've noticed sometimes that pots don't proc until after an induction finishes.
It would be nice if Gortheron's script was changed to accurately reflect which debuff he's applying at the moment, though. A couple of them are switched around - not that it's a big deal once you know which phase = which pot, but still - it's just sloppy.

Any class that has long animations really. If you're in the middle of like feral or something and you don't have clobber up to skip the animation then you're going to be stuck with the poison until the animation is over. Happens to me often with FMs actually.

Yeah, we've had all our guys hotkey them (poison pots anyway)...but that with the rend basically makes phase 1 tougher than 2 or 3. Not complaining so much - we're beyond it. It just kind of struck me as a real "uhhhh....huh?" thing and doesn't follow the pattern of the other curable debuffs.
Fear ones too I guess. I think the effect of the fear is pretty neat, but if there's an unfixable bug attached to it, scrap it pls. A bug forcing people to re-log 12-15 minutes into a fight - just as all hell is about to break loose - is frustrating at least.

For what it's worth, the poison pools spawn at the 3s and 6s mark of the 6s long debuff - hasn't changed since the raid first came out according to fraps analysis, but I miss it all the time too heh. But at least there's no bug there.
Can add the Ivar's Champions deed not progressing if you are dead when Ivar dies though, which I think is a bug as I think it did not use to be like this for earlier runs, as I don't think we'd only have discovered it now, as I'm pretty sure I've been dead at the end of several runs in the past too.Kethina, Woman Burglar (80|R5) | Shiara, Elf Minstrel (85|R9) | Alynne, Hobbit Huntress (67|R4) | Kylanna, Woman Loremistress (85|R4)

is it just me or does target marking not work on the boars in phase 1 of the Gorth fight? kind of annoying. Seems to work on the mobs in the other phases tho, so I assume it's a bug.
