Thread: OneVanilla PrePaid Visa Card

Well now I'm pissed off,
I just thought... you can't buy anything online with a Prepaid Visa Card am I correct?
Please tell me I'm incorrect!
I thought this Card was a Visa Gift Card and put $70 into this card so that I may purchase Turbine Points a VIP!
Well I guess it's all good.. I could just walk back to 7-11 and purchase another kind of $50 Visa Gift Cards?
Damn myself for not reading the back of the card or anything...
Or if I can purchase online.. then I wonder why it's giving me an error when I do try to purchase TB or VIP?
I think the card is already registered/activated though because when I called the number it told me I had $70 in there..

You need to register it so that the address verification will work. There should be instructions on the card about how to add your address to the card.

And I've tried googling this and I do remember registering another card before 5 months ago for another game and it finally worked.. but now I can't find this site!
And there's been sites of people saying that Vanilla Visa is a scam o.o

I'm pretty sure that if you call Turbine customer support and give them the credit card number it will go through. The online system isn't quite set up for the pre-paid cards or something.

Try their web site and see if you can add the address there.

There's not a place I can do that on Vanillavisa.com o.o
And when I try entering my card info to check my balance I get this
"Details cannot be found with information entered, please re-enter all information correctly."
Where when I call the number and give type the info.. it tells me my balance.

Woohoo!!! My stupid self was NOT typing in the 4 digit expiration date on the site!! I was typing in 3 digits instead, got my card, activated and it should work now! Thanks
