Discussion: Champion Weapons

As most of you know, the Champion wields two weapons, but for some reason, I can't change the weapon that's wielded in the left hand (right if you're looking at the character from the front). However, I can change the weapon in the right hand (left if you're looking at it from the front). Can anyone tell me how I can change the sword on the left hand (right if you're looking at the character from the front)?

Pull up the character window & drag the weapon to the slot for the left hand. Double-clicking from the inventory always puts it in the right hand.

Are you just clicking on the weapon in your inventory? If so, instead open the the character window ("C") and then drag the weapon from your inventory to the appropriate space around the edges of the character portrait. Same with other left/right items, like earrings.

There's a way to do this on your hot bar, but it involves multiple steps:
First, place your right-hand weapon, your left-hand weapons, and a two-handed weapon on your hot bar. Click the 2H weapon, then click your RH weapon, then the LH weapon you want to equip. Cycle again through the 2H weapon to return to dual-wielding with the original LH weapon.

So, I finally chose a champion for me and now I have a problem with weapon.
At the moment, my champ has two daggers in hands.. but what weapon is better?
With quests I get a lot of different weapons as daggers, knives, axes, stuffs and more, but I really don't know, what is better to have.
Can someone please tell me?

if you have several single handed weapons all of the same level then they will all be doing the same level of damage, same for two handed weapons. there is no real benefit over wielding 2 daggers over wielding 2 axes... even of you compair several two handed weapons of the same level their damage will be the same

what youll realy be looking at other than dps would be any stats on the weapons, ie agility, vitality or what ever champs need. not exactly sure wich stats champs use but youll be looking for replacement weapons which boost those stats

you may also find some swords have a bonus to increase hit chance, axes to lower armor, clubs iirc lower armor etc

what weapons you wield realy is down to personal preference although if you play hobbit then theres a racial bonus for clubs. some man champs prefer swords, dwarf champs sometimes prefer axes.

some wepaons youll not be able to equip, they can only be used by one class only ie staffs are loremaster only, javelin warden, rune stones runekeepers, halberds captains
