I've been on two different servers and I have yet to find a kin as helpful and as understanding of external influences at PoME! There is always an officer online, and always willing to help. Looking for a kin to really boost your game? Look no further, contact Faragrim and join the fun!
Parents of Middle Earth is a wonderful mature kin. Being mature though does not take way from the fun and jokes that goes on in our kin chatter. This is a very active kin who is there to help with everything you need whether advice, fellowship, crafting, or just good old fun.
I've been with Parents of Middle Earth for about nine months. You will be hard pressed to find a better group of people. Need help? You can hardly finish making the request before receiving multiple replies. Everyone is very understanding and respectful. Have to bail on a fellowship because junior is crying? No problem everyone has been there before. The LOTRO experience would not be the same without them.

I've been a member for a few months now, and absolutely love it! I've finally found a group of people who really care about each other and enjoy each other's company. I'm enjoying the game again, instead of stressing over who to do fellowship quests with, or other such things.
Let me just say there are few characters you encounter in-game that can compare to members of Parents of Middle Earth. Such a wonderful and mature people to be in Skirmishes, instances or social!
Your No. 1 in my book for being THE All Around, Fun loving, Social Kin in the Riddermark!
I was alone in Forochel, my VIP is expired and I needed to grind a slayer deed. I’m kinless, reviled as a malcontent, I’m older I can’t stand change and more and more find myself becoming disconnected from society as a whole (I play MMO’s I’m sure this comes a shock the reader).
It dawned on me that the only time in my game play experience I actually could stomach others was my time in Parents of middle earth. Not only did they put up with my incessant &&&&, they went out of their way to help and accommodate me at every turn. Need mats? It was in my mail box. Could not kill a boss in bree at level 17? I had several level 65 toons mapping to help. My kid was sick and I couldn’t make a predetermined kin raid? No problem, no questions asked.
I made the mistake of leaving this kin, you should make the brilliant decision to join. Best kin on riddermark hands down.

Haha... thanks for the chuckle.
And I'll agree with you as well that this is a great Kin!

Who really needs some good away-from-the-world, stress-relieving, fantasy-world game playing than a parent? Who really understands the need for drop-everything and run-to-help someone in the real world better than a parent? This kinship understands all that and has been a real treasure for me to join. I was in a smaller kin before (and loved the members) but as my toon approached the upper limit, I was finding myself in PUG after PUG and all I could say was UGH! This POME kinship has a huge variety of members and a large number of upper level members. There are FS's going all the time and some amount of raids too. I will admit that raids are not a top priority for this kinship but they definitely happen and are great fun when they do. Raiding has increased quickly as more members have reached 75 recently. I have made several new friends and truly enjoy my time here. I would advise anyone looking for a kin with a hassle-free understanding of real-world time committments to give POME a strong look. I'm sure you won't regret it.
And in case you join after this post in the future and I somehow miss your first entrace to our kinship, please let me offer you a quick "Howdy and welcome!" right now. See you in game.
I am not actually a member of PoME, I run their Alliance kin Order of the Morning Star, but I can say without a doubt that the people of PoME are some of the coolest, most mature, friendliest and all around awesomest folks on Riddermark. They're always willing to help out with fellowships, crafting, advice or support their friends in Middle Earth. I couldn't ask to be in an alliance with a better group of folks. You won't be disappointed if your join their ranks!
I had the privilege to be part of an instance with POME at Evendim it was fun and fast against Nornagol!
Thank you for helping this hunter level up

I really would like to join your kin as soon as I can play again (still downloading the client and the downloader says it will be done in 350 hrs or so lol). I love my current kin (lots of good people) and I owe them my raiding experience but sadly, the majority was on long vacation or on another game now . Anyways, I will look for your officer in GLFF and hopefully I can join your ranks as soon as I can log.
I was wondering if you are still recruiting. On your kinship website I found the requirements to be "married, a parent, and 30+". I'm afraid I'm none of those (single, childless and 24). However I am a mature person, and I think playing together, with mutual respect for every player, is of paramount importance! In the end, helping each other out and having a fun time together is why we play this game... This seems to be what you guys are standing for, so I'd really be interested in getting a chance to join your ranks. In the game, I'm Aethel, a (currently) lvl 23 ministrel, with a fierce love for chocolate chip cookies and patching up people with my healing skills.
Hope to hear from you guys soon. I'll be honest, I'm not on the forums that often, but am online in game once or twice a week. See you there and happy hunting!

Hi Mithraax
I've added you to my friends list and if I see you in-game I'll send a tell (though I do play at odd times if you are based in the US). If you see me or any of the other kin officers around then please send a tell.
Hey there!
I've just started up this game again.
So later, I'm going to choose to be an Elf Hunter.
I'm hoping that this kinship is active?
I'd love to be in a kinship as soon as possible ;D I love making new friends like right away haha.
Addison - thanks for your interest in our kinship. Yes, we remain a very active kinship and, relative to most kinships, we have a large number of active players.
Please stop by our website (link in my signature below), click on the 'Apply to Kinship' link, and complete an application. In the application, please include the name of your Riddermark character and tell us a little about yourself. Once submitted, one of the officers will contact you.
Thanks,
Fara

And another reason to join this fantastic kin. The community Guild website called guildlaunch.com did a recent competition to look for the top guild leaders. Our fantastic leader Faragrim (seen directly above this post ^) finished 10th in the competition after we begged him to enter it after the competition was a few weeks old. He was the 3rd highest rated LOTRO guild leader in the competition and the highest rated leader from the Riddermark server. So, he may not crow about it, but those of us that know and love this kin and it's leadership (all of them, not just Fara) have nothing but deep appreciation and sincere gratitude for the things they all do to help keep this kin in such a strong condition. You can see the results from the competition here:
