Just tried this on my account and it worked like a charm. Love the free stuff.

Just a heads up if you already have an mmorpg subscription you can just use that. It doesnt need to be a new one.

Yeah, I ran into the same issue myself when I first tried to put in the code. And Turbine is being tricksy with this restriction, too. Took me a while to figure out how to get around it, but I did.

Basically, they want active credit card data on file in order to maintain an "Active" account status. Whether it is your card or the card of someone that trusts you to repay them any accidental clicks on the big "Add Points" button, they really don't care.

I just wanted to say that the problem has been sorted - I just had to update my CC expiry date to "reactivate" my account, now I have the Hauberk on my account

Thanks very much for explaining how to obtain this beautiful new addition to my Wardrobe! Whether or not the information as to how to obtain the Hauberk is to be found elsewhere on these Forums, I certainly haven't come across it before, so your post has been very useful to me.

Incidentally, as a former EU player, I can confirm, as many already have done, that this works fine with former EU Accounts. I can also confirm that, for me at least, the Hauberk has appeared successfully on all ten of my existing Characters upon login, so perhaps those who had problems were simply lacking in bag space...?

+1 Reputation for a most helpful post - and especially for taking so much time to provide such a detailed explanation.

"Free" is always a price that I like, and the Hauberk is a most worthy addition to anyone's outfit selection, I'd say. I love it!

I was looking for something blue to wear. This should work.

Will check to see if I got the hauberk when I log in after the server restart.

Free is a fine price and I too confirm it works for the Codemasters refugees amongst us (like myself). And you can dye it in interesting ways, as the dye is added to the blue in places making for some different colors.

Yeah, me too. I wonder if it has anything to do with this morning's update.

For those of you who have gotten the Hauberk, does it show up as an item in your inventory?

Yes. Mine shows up immediately after character creation.

Though I forget exactly when the very first one showed up, but I think it was the login immediately after I put in the code.

As to why it's not working, I honestly have no clue.

Try typing /reclaim. If you ever had it, it'll come back.

Same issue here. Never had this item, but it says Its already on my account. /reclaim doesn't give it to me.

I have it and I love that it's Account wide so all my characters have it and it's on my primary.
