hey LOTRO can u put a log book on housing storage chests so we can see who takes out of them please everyone leave a comment so we can infore the change thanx
I totally agree that there should be separate permissions on each storage container, and that those permissions should have a wider scope to allow more specific permissions to each one: even if adding extra Kinship ranks is necessary. Also, a log of each transaction should be kept and accessable to the owner of the storage compartment, to allow proper management of resources and to prevent theft from happening.

This wouldnt prevent theft, mearly allow you to identify the culprit. You must be vigilent about setting your permissions. Otherwise, if I can take it, i have 'permission' to do so.

Well you're right at that point, but it would help to deal with the loss of trust after a theft has been done. Also, it would help track down bugs which allow people without permission to chest or decorations to steal from your house, like happened today at our kinhouse. The person wasn't even in our kinship but still could take pictures from the walls. To bad the person who watched this whole scene was too shocked to even take screens or write down the name.

A storage log book is a very good idea/suggestion. It definately makes sense for home owners to have an option to record recent activities with ones storage chest(s), and perhaps also include an additional choice to track activity with decoration changes and/or maintenance payments.
