Insurrection's History

Insurrection, founded on May 5, 2007, has been a premier Arkenstone raiding kinship for the past four years. Throughout that time of continuous achievement, we have routinely conquered every piece of Shadows of Angmar, Mines of Moria, and Siege of Mirkwood instance content within days or weeks of launch.

But we don't stop raiding once content has been conquered. Every single week since the release of The Rift of Nurz Ghashu in October 2007 has had at least one scheduled raid event. If you really love to raid, Insurrection is the place for you.

Today, we can be found pushing the limits of the Ost Dunhoth raid. Last week, Ivar Tier II Challenge mode fell. What will this week bring?

Insurrection's Philosophy

Insurrection believes in achievements for their own sake, as if they were our own personal goals.

We operate on a teamwork philosophy; no individual is above the team and no one, from the oldest officer to the youngest recruit, is given special treatment. Insurrection's members have fun and joke around, and each member has to be able to rely absolutely on the skill level and maturity of his kinmates to stay alive in some of the most strenuous battles in Middle Earth.

Even though recruitment is highly selective, we always welcome mature, high-quality applicants who wish to join our ranks. The three strongest factors we look for in applicants: a long history of dedication to LOTRO, a complete mastery of one's class, and a willingness to learn from constructive feedback. Our primary raid night is Friday at 8pm EST, but we also tend to have raids on Saturdays, Sundays, and one night early in the week. Raid attendance is determined largely by signup order, so long as group balance can be achieved.

Recruitment Priority

Currently all classes are open; however, Minstrel, Lore-Master, Rune-Keeper, and Captain are preferred.

insurrection...since ive been a wee lvl 8 in febuary of 08 i have seen that name, the imfamous aelvain and flaky reside there..among many other seriously tuned players. this is a serious kin that has gone a very long way on this particular server. they have alot of history and pride..only serious inquiries and applicants should apply..they are picky for a very good reason..they are among the elite kinships period..if you see insurrection under a persons name..they earned it the hard way.

While all classes are still selectively open, we are looking for some skilled minstrels and captains.

Have added quite a few quality recruits of late, still selectively open to more.

Captains and Minstrels are Preferred, although at this time we would not mind another experienced Champ/Burglar.

Insurrection is looking to add one or two experienced players to our ranks in preparation for Isengard. Our main raid nights are Friday, Sunday, and Monday, in which we currently are clearing OD.

Classes we are selectively looking to add:Captain, Minstrel, RK

Players with alts are also strongly preferred.

Recruitment is now only open to minstrel, captain, rk and guard barring some exceptions.

We will start raiding Draigoch soon, if you are looking to raid at an advanced level and are one of the classes listed above, either get a hold of me or an officer in-game, or visit insurrection.zonefreeze.com.

Insurrection is currently running all the 12 man skirms, Thorog, and two Draigoch raids a week.

As of now the only classes we are looking for are healers/captains.

Have ran two simultaneous draigoch challenge raids the last two weeks, 3 raids a week total, with skirms/thorog/moors throughout the week.

Only accepting highly skilled players, preferrably captains.

If you are looking to tackle Saruman in the new raid coming in Update 5, there is no better place to be than in Insurrection. Recruitment is highly selective, but if you think you have what it takes visit our website and apply.

Coming off our North American first lightning-challenge kill, and after adding a number of applicants Insurrection is still selectively recruiting. Nobody has been raiding more than us these past couple weeks, and we expect applicants to be able to raid on our main nights (Friday, Monday, and one other) for several hours. We strongly prefer people with alts.

At this time we have spots open for a guardian, a captain, and maybe an LM (with alts)

As of now we are looking to add another main guardian.

Looking for guardians, burglars and rune keepers at this moment.

Currently looking for an experienced, raid ready rune keeper.

Just wanted to post an update on recruitment.. with the summer months here and RoR just a few months out, Insurrection is always looking to bolster our roster with skilled members.
