If you're in a smaller kin and looking to get in to raiding but don't have the numbers then we could be a good fit. Membership is not a requirement for raiding but is encouraged as we will fill from kin members first before inviting raid allies to join. We also try to run 3 and 6 mans, raid skirmishes and other instances on off-nights to being in kin helps to see when we are running something.
We currently are looking for a few experience raiders or players that are willing to learn. Some roles that could fit with us include a champ, cap, hunter, lm, and possibly a burg. I can't promise that we'll have an opening every raid but we have raids 3, sometimes 4 nights a week. For raiding we do ask that you use our calendar for sign ups and have ventrilo for instructions during the raid.
Anyone is welcome to apply for kinship, but it will not guarantee you a raid position (it does helps). If you like your current kin but want to raid, you can apply as a raid ally to sign up on our calendar and have a shot at filling open slots.
All of our raids start at 9pm est and if we can we'll start early.
We do currently have an open membership recruitment for all classes for those just looking to move to a kin that has some bodies around to do something.
For more info you can contact me and be sure to check out our site to register for sign ups.
Re: Dark Legacy is looking for allies and members!
We've gotten a good response so far and have ran OD the past two weeks! Two weeks ago we downed the wound and disease wings and were close to finishing off the Balrog. Last Friday we cleared the Wound, Fear and Disease wings and tonight we're set for the Poison wing then on to Ivar! We still need a few more people so if you're interested check out our website and apply for Raid Ally. We currently could use another guardian, hunter, and an lm or min. Our pug/kin runs are on Fri/Mon @ 9PM EST. For more info check out our website.
Re: Dark Legacy is looking for allies and members!
Hello again!
I've been very pleased with all the response we have gotten and for the past two weeks our pug group has cleared OD T1 and even cleared DN a few times for fun!
Dark Legacy's pug raid runs on Fridays and Mondays at 9pm est. Our goal is to clear the wings on Friday and make a run at the crypt on Monday (or Friday if the group make up is right). We've made attempts at T2 and plan to do more in the coming weeks as the group gets more cohesive. Our current group is comprised of half kin and the other half of our raid allies. While we have a consistent group of 11 there are always people that can't make it all the time. We are currently still looking for a tank (or captain) and people that are willing to be a backup if a spot opens to fill out our raid. We prefer those that will use ventrilo.
We also try to run DN/Watcher/Turtle on Saturdays at 9pm est if enough people are on and interested.
For more info check out our kin site http://darklegacy.guildlaunch.com/ and you can apply to be a raid ally. Feel free to hit me up in game too.
Here is a highlight of some of the kins that have had members join us for our raid.
Seekers of the Twenty First Ring
Guardians of the Veiled Rose
Forgotten Heroes
Weekend Warriors
The Band Played On
Wisdom
Sons of Durin
Malice
Namaste

Re: Dark Legacy is looking for allies and members!
I'd be interested in helping out as an ally (in a very small kin with a friend only). I have both warden and captain that would be very interested in helping out, especially with OD.
Re: Dark Legacy is looking for allies and members!
I'll have to remind Shel to update the original post later.
We are currently looking for quality players to fill a few key roles as we move on to Orthanc T2. A potential secondary tank (guard preferred), CC (including trapper hunter), or captain.
Friday and Monday nights starting at 9pm est (usually not past 11:30 mondays) we run Orthanc. We have cleared T1 once and have started some of the wings on T2.
Sunday nights at 9pm are Draigoch, and sometimes Hele wings.
Rest of the week random Skirm raids and instances are run.
Anyone is welcome to apply for kinship, but it will not guarantee you a raid position (it helps). If you like your current kin but want to raid, you can apply as a raid ally to sign up on our calendar and have a shot at filling open slots.

Done!
Like Lem said we are looking to fill a few holes to move on to T2 Orthanc. We also have enough alts that we could put together another Draigoch run during the week too but mostly we run skirmishes.
Turlho has been running our skirmishes a lot lately so you may be familiar with him.

Re: Dark Legacy is looking for allies and members!
Please note that we have been PVP'ing quite frequently as well. Turloh went from rank 0 to rank 7 in 20 days and Lem and Careun are not far behind. We also started a creep side tribe, Legacy of Darkness. Keep yo eyes out for us.
Re: Dark Legacy is looking for allies and members!
I updated the main thread. Currently we're looking for a few people for Tower raids. We could use an experienced lm, cap, champ, hunter, and possibly a burg.

Re: Dark Legacy is looking for allies and members!
Would love to have another solid player or three in the roles that Shelias mentioned in the post above to join us. We aren't a huge kin like some others, we don't want too many people sitting out on raid nights. The summer months are hitting us hard though as we have gone from 10-12 dedicated raiders to about 8-9 that can be on consistently due to work/real life obligations. We've been 8/9-manning Draigoch/Tower of Orthanc the past few weeks and would prefer to be back to 12.
If you are looking for a very consistent group that completes these every week to run with, we would love to hear from you. Having never done the runs before is not a huge deal as long as you can listen to and follow instructions.
