Aurora Australis is the largest Oceanic Kin on the big E. We are a mature casual kin, we do end content raiding and are currently focused on Ost Dunhoth with 2 raids per week.
We have many different kin events each month from triva competitions, recruitment nights, deed nights, littlies nights, skirmishes and the odd moors raid. Due to our size we do many instances as we normaly have a large player base online in peak hours.
So if you are looking for a mature, casual kin that can also raid the hardest content in the game and beat it join Aurora Australis. We accept recruits of all levels not just level 65. Recruitment is open as of the 1st of April.

They are the most needed classes at present to help fill our Ost Dunhoth raids. We raid mostly on Friday/Sat/Sunday and also Tuesday and Wednesdays. Raid times are normaly 8pm Sydney time AEST, (GMT +10)
We do not limit our class rescruitment so all classes are welcome and all levels as we are a causal kin and enjoy all play types in lotro.

If you would like to be part of a large oceanic kinship that does all content including Ost Dunhoth raid as well as many kin events then AA should be your new home. We are a causal kin and love to raid in a casual fashion, we do not have required nights you must turn up to raid. We have an advanced website which includes and instance schedule for ever instance in the game, kin members can sign up to raids or other events here on any of there toons. Raids are normaly posted 1 month in advance giving you plenty of time to sign up.
Currently AA has cleared Ost Dunhoth on Tier 1, we have complete Tier 2 Disease wing Challenge, Tier 2 Posion wing. We currently raid on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesdays and Wednesday nights from about 8pm AEST.

Aurora Australis is actively recruiting. We are not just a lotro kinship, we are a gamming community that also support rift. We currently have abouy 150 Lotro players and 50 Rift players. We are a casual kinship with a mature player base, family friendly that like to raid.

Burglars - We do not have any full time Burglar for our raids only people using the alts. If you are a Burg we have spots in almost any raid for your class.
Captains - We have some raiding captains but a few more would be nice for a 2nd weekly raid.
Rune Keepers - Same as above.
Minstrels - Same as above.
We are mostly looking for more numbers so we can field 2 full raid groups most weeks, we currently raid on 5 different nights a week but you only need to make 2 of them to sign up.

AA is looking to boost its numbers with RoI just around the corner. Although we have many members we would like to boost our numbers further so we can raid into Dragonich raid with kin only. Our 1st Draigoch raid is planned for the 14th, we should have over 24 raiders at lvl 75 by then. Once we know the fight well we will run multiple raids of 12 to defeat draigoch.

Our kinship has a sponsorship system which is clearly stated in the application to join the kin. No one is left to fend for them selves. Try using our forums to create dates and times for people to join in any content you want to run. Ask an officer to create an event on the Instance Schedule, our own custom made event organiser. Join in any of a large kin events, Draigoch, Skirmish and moors raids, Horse races, Treasure hunts, Littlies nights and so on. This is how you get to know kin and they get to know you. Screen shot below of events for the next 2 weeks. A 2nd screen shot of what it looks like when you sign up for an event. In the 3rd image you can see a few empty spots in the raid for this Friday, anyone who is 75 in the kin and has a class for that post can sign up. It is your choice to join our raids and events not ours, these raids and events are open to all kin who can make these times.
As you can see by screens shots a few posts up, AA does events on most nights of the week. Horse racing, treasure hunts, Moors raids, Littlies nights, skirmish and draigoch raids.
AA we be doing 2 Draigoch raiders per week. 1 Tier 2 raid on Friday nights and a Tier 1 raid on Saturday night, once enough kin have experience in this raid we will run 2 Tier 2 raids per week.
We are still short captains to help fill out our raids, but all classes are welcome to join us.

Currently AA runs two Tier 2 Draigoch raids on challenge per week. We have two Tower of Orthanc raids per week. We run skirmish raids, and instance nights to focus on Tier 2 Isengard instances. We have many other kin events we run at various times such as horse races, treasure hunts and triva nights.
To help us fill out our raiding teams we currently need as a high priority the following classes :

We recruit all levels and all classes the above is just a guide. If you are one of those classes your chances of raiding are high. We do offer 2 raids of the current end game per week so we have plenty of spots for most classes. Less options for DPS classes as we have plenty of DPS at present. Support classes we need a few more of.
