    Brandywine - Spring Festival Fortunes

If you are missing a few of those pesky fortunes or just need them all for an alt, you are welcome to visit my home where all 50 are neatly organized into the housing chests. (1-30 in one and 31-50 in the other).

Please, read them and put them back in order so that others can quickly find the pages they need. I'll leave the doors open for the duration of the festival.

    Happy Spring!

I'm very sad as well. I'm hopeful when the servers come back up the forgetful party returns them. This worked wonderfully last Spring without incident and proved how awesome the Brandywine community can be.

I still have several toons working the festival, so if they are not returned, I'll hopefully be able to offer this again before its over. I'll post here if its possible.

I held a player event last year where I handed out biscuits and everyone traded fortunes. About 80 people showed up at the busiest point, so I'm not sure if that would work well this year with dynamic layering.

(Also, I'm not quite as keen on grinding out 400 biscuits this time around!)

Sorry to hear your fortunes were stolen. Hopefully whoever it was that had them last will return them for the rest of the people who need them as well. I was able to get them last year by visiting your house and would like to thank you again for your generous hospitality!

I remember your event, I thought that was a neat way to handle it

The fortunes seem more forgiving this year. I didn't count biscuits, but I took 3 toons through every festival event and got the "Spring Dandy" title for each and I had all 50. So it may be more forgiving this time around. (This included getting the big shrew a few times as well and I may have repeated a daily in the area if it was available so its hard to guess how many)

I'm now working on any missing mounts. Once that is done, I'll want to get one toon his shrew titles. Seems like they fixed it so group hits no longer count so that could take a while... hence, I'm hopeful to have some fortunes again

I took up you offer last year Huck. Thanks again for that. The person that took them is probably reading this. Taking them says a lot about what type of person you are. What goes around comes around.

You are about to get some seriously bad Karma.

Re: Brandywine - Spring Festival Fortunes

I've had some time to get my stomp on

All Fortunes save that pesky #18 are now in the chests again.

I'm likely to be out for a few days, but do hope to find that last one next week when I return as I still have some festival holes to fill, but wanted to offer the 49/50 during that time in case it helps finish off some deeds for some of you.

Please try to remember to put them back in place so that others can easily find the ones they need when they don't need all of them. Thanks.

Thanks to a very kind donation, page 18 has been placed in the chests. All 50 are now available.

As always, please put them back in order for the next person

What a cool thing to do.

If I may, what are these fortunes, where do they come from, and what do they do? I have been running all the Spring Festival events and have yet to see such a thing.

There is a random fortune (between 1 and 50) inside each [Extra Deliciously Tasty Biscuit]. You can buy 2 biscuits for 3 spring festival leaves.

Collecting each group of 10 fortunes will complete a deed and reward a title. Here's a complete list:

    http://lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/Festival_Fortunes_Text

The fortunes can be traded, and you don't even have to use the item to get credit for it. As soon as the item is in your inventory, the deed is advanced and you can return the item.

Or, you can just visit hucklebarry's house, take the fortunes out of his housing storage chests one at a time, and return them.

Thanks to all for keeping the fortunes available and organized! Its spring, so I'll leave the windows open (and the chests) throughout the festival. I think there is still roughly a week left.

Thanks Hucklebarry! I managed to collect most of the fortunes, but you saved me a bunch of trouble on a pesky few I couldn't find.

If you have any more problems with fortunes wandering away feel free to send a mail to 'Kallore' and I'll gladly donate what I can!

I am on Vilya, otherwise I would have taken up hucklebarry's very gracious offer. At this point I only need one more fortune. It only took 80 biscuits and a few trips to the Auction House.

Anyone that knows me knows that I'm a pretty big A-Hole. That being said, I still do not understand why someone would purposely grief another user that was only handing out information. Those griefings should be saved for those that don't actually hold valuable knowledge :P haha

This is last year's thread, the correct address is:

2 Chalk Road, Oatdell, Shire (long hike across the street )

Not sure why you aren't seeing Oatdell. The constables have no problem finding it... just launch a firework off after 9 p.m...
