Has a 10 minute cooldown, but for what? Its not for the stats cause those change on equip, when I "use" the item by right clicking it it makes a "TING" noise but nothing happens.
What I'm asking is, has anyone else seen this and is it bugged? Is there supposed to be a CD thing on it that just didnt get put on?

I wondered the same thing. I didn't even hear a "ting", just this semi-epic pose with the statue:
I wish there was a better tooltip/description, or some actual effect would be nice.
At a guess, since the description mentions proving your heroic-ness, and the pose is /heropose, mayhap the two go together in some crazy, repeatable-every-10m way.
or for just 495 points you can have the tooltip added to your item description

The statuette is the horseshoe of Evendim. It's supposed to do something, but noone knows what that something is, except the devs, and they aren't talking.

Was it the kind of "ting" noise you get when you first unlock a hidden deed?
Pardon my ignorance, but how/where exactly do you get this item?

As if in answer there came from far away another note. Horns, horns, horns. In dark Mindolluin's sides they dimly echoed. Great horns of the North wildly blowing. Rohan had come at last.

The name is 'Ancient Annuminas Statuette' so Annuminas is a given since that is where they were made. The next is what is it a statue of. If you look at the statue (which you can only do every 10 minutes) it has a woman with the large star of Annuminas (which is prominent on all flags and the ship statues adorning the water fall).
The old part of Annuminas was actually covered by the lake waters, courtesy of the Blue Lady, Gwindeth. Who is the only prominent female in the history of Annuminas. However, she valued humility over pride...
And so, after testing the items for stat changes, tomb door activation or speaking with Gwindeth....nothing.
well this is what it says in the combat panel in chat but i dont see any buffs *namehere applied a benefit with Trophy Display on namehere* also had this before it *namehere applied a benefit with Weapon of Storm on namehere* still dont know what it did tho
There's an easy way to see if it starts a hidden deed. Check the box that says something like "Automatically add deeds to quest log" and when you use it, a deed will pop up on your screen.
At least that option used to be there...it's how I got all the eating deeds without having to guess what to ingest!

I've been using my statuette every 10 minutes just for the heck of it, as has my friend. We can hear the other person's "chime" sound, which suggests to me that it's not deed-related at all. I think it's just a nifty special emote.
yeah the animation is broken now. recently levelled my loremaster through evendim, and had the thought that perhaps it was a bypass (potentially a clever one at that, as it would be something of a riddle itself) for those who couldn't figure out the solution to what Gwindeth desired most for the Tomb of Elendil quest line, but it does not seem to be the case (unless any such possible effect is broken along with the animation)
