Re: new pvp set: how to get it past overblown AH price
so anon. poster, want to tell me how i am able to combat log with an entire raid on me? or has getting out of combat (usually having to burn cd's to do so with an entire raid on me) and mapping out now an exploit also?...also u bring up another point, it's pretty sad that people need to have an entire raid just to chase down and attempt to kill 1 creep, or is raid baby just mad because some1 who actually knows how to use his skills effectively has been able to evade raids and avoid death in 24v1's... definitely sounds like a fair fight to me. you proved urself a liar when you said that i have combat logged with entire freep raids on me because it takes less than a second for a raid to burn any creep down, not just wargs (we don't have last stand and bubbles don't last long enough to cover a logout (in which case u fail further if u think i'm grouped, because 99% of the time i'm in the moors i'm ungrouped)), and if a freep raid fails so epically that a warg does manage to combat log (24 seconds) on them, then, well i really don't know what to say to that. you all just running around unarmed and just meleeing? boxing gloves ftl?

Re: new pvp set: how to get it past overblown AH price
so...i got away (since u can't "catch up" to a warg in sprint), mapped out, and ur tracker said "you lost your target" or something like that, (it's the same message for both instances when some1 logs or maps) and because you can't tell the difference between a logout and a map out ur just going to assume that i "combat" logged, even though i'm very outspoken against it. even if it was the case that i logged out, i wasn't in combat when it started and it still would have taken ur raid a second or less to burn me down...and u admit i was out of combat so how could i "combat log", combat being the operative word, so once again ur logic fails. also, since when did suiciding off cliffs become an exploit? u obviously don't know what ur talking about i'm done responding to u, troll, welcome to ignore.

Az made a previous claim that he uses his hips/sprint offensively, and yet he admits to hips/sprinting=suiciding off a cliff. Doesn't sound very offensive. Sounds more like a starhugging fear of pvp tactic. Interesting...

I have to step in here and point out how many freeps and groups of freeps break for the cliff above TA/TR bears to lemming off the cliff 1 after the other...

if my cd's r up and i can deny zerg huggers like u renoun, i'm going to do whatever possible to do it...you won't be getting easy points off me, not anymore, if u want points, try harder for the kill rather than hiding behind ur 23 other meat shields...theres plenty of times were i'v picked off people in the raids ur always hiding in after being focus fired and hipsing only to come back out of stealth seconds later for the kill, as well as sprinting into raids and zergs to finish a target off, then if i can, getting back out. i also use both skills offensively in 1v1's when i need to, but you wouldn't know anything about those types of fights since u never leave gv/keeps w/o at least 10 other people.

Fixed it for you. Note the addition of proper punctuation. I chose to leave the comma off after "my period(.)" as it is not necessary. Personally, I would use one in most instances.
Anyone feel like a troll yet?

I never said my punctuation was perfect did I? As i said in my first post its not an A+ in English.
However throwing in period and enter does make a post more readable whether the rest is punctuated/spelled perfectly or not.
p.s Using a comma then but is also incorrect which is what your 'fix' did.

Hmm I could have sworn i got marked down for a comma then a but back in English. I shall have to visit my teach and confront her about this gross injustice.
Or it could of course be that the Americans are just trying to ruin more of the glorious written English language through deliberate misuse of the comma.

Re: new pvp set: how to get it past overblown AH price
I was saving up for the pvp set on my burg until I realized:
1) I'd have to have the 6-piece bonus for it to be worthwhile
2) I'd only ever gotten 2 brilliant stones in all the time I've played
3) I play so little it'll be next year before I hit rank 9 and could slot the last piece anyhow
For the person who wondered, a few pages ago, I only ever get the Chest of Glen Vraig and that's where I got both stones. Very poor drop rate indeed.
And now that I'm trying to sell those crests and brooches I saved, the price has dropped a lot.
Somebody suggested asking the devs to make Brilliant Stones tradeable at the vendors. Say, 200 tokens?

Better yet, make all of the Arch-Nemesis mobs in the delving drop them. Say Gaergoth drops 3-4, the Matron drops 1-3, and have all the weaker ones drop 1 or 2.
As it is now, you WON'T get your PvP set if you don't have a persistent group of buddies/kinnies willing to help out. For those who remember book 12, you got a PUG together and could get your whole set in 1-2 runs. Now it seems to take forever. I try to think they keep the required mats so hard to obtain because they want only a hard-working few to be able to complete their sets...and of course not flood the Moors with a bunch of PvErs that will never 'PvP' again once they are done with their collecting their materials.

That's how they always do it though, right? All the gear/second ages/whatevs in the beginning only go to the people who put in tons of effort and grind like hell. (Or that one PUGed guy who's in there for the first time and gets the lucky roll. Hate that guy.)
And then 6 months later they give them away like candy so every poopy player can have one.
So quit whinging and just wait.

except all it takes is one person with a warg in the delving to notice freeps in there, pop eggs and wipe them. making it quite impossible to get, PvP gear anyways.

Is the gear even worth it? I know for burgs the full gear HiPs curable DoT wipe would help a lot
BUT
PvE gear looks a lot better imo but I haven't really looked at the PvP gear lately

That would make that person super lame for using npcs to wipe the other side.
But I've been in groups that have popped eggs while killing the drake and we lived. It happens. As it stands currently, the pvp set isn't for straight up pvpers or straight up raiders. It's for people who do both. Doesn't make it impossible. I'm fine with some things being only for top tier players.
and again: in 6 months they'll switch and make it so any ?????? can get it. so just wait.
edit #2: it really bothers me that they censor C R A P P Y so it looks like I'm saying something worse.

Yeah, but hiding in npcs and people having the option of following you in is a different level of poopy than specifically spawning npcs on top of you and hipsing to wipe you. That kinda stuff would make you King Lame.
So the wonder twins would be parked there.
