Thread: Amarthiel makes an appearance in The Sims 3

I have used custom content but never mods in the Sims games, but after coming across a site that had some really neat items I decided to try them out. Then I looked into how I could make my own because I would love to have some things from LOTRO in my Sims 3 game. Well, after some struggling today I made my very first Sims mod; a portrait of Amarthiel. If you are so inclined, you can head over to this blog and read about this as well as see the LOTR mods I'm using. I did this in the span of this weekend, heh. I figured it would be hard to make even a 'simple' mod but having tutorials made it so easy.

I just did two other projects but they didn't come out as nice-looking due to resizing. One is a single piece of wall art made from Turbine's map of Middle-earth.



The other is a choice of three maps (or you can purchase all three, of course) made by Turbine.
