    Heavy Armor for level 61+

I have used my alt who is supream metalsmith to make heavy armor for my main who just entered Mirkwood. I am almost to level 62 and have been using critted armor, but it has not been upgraded since like level 58, are there better recipies to be had in mirkwood that I can give to my alt? Or should I use these golden feathers to buy armor that is only a little bit better than what I currently have.

FYI main is a champ level 61 and alt is hunter level 34,

There are some pretty nice level 60 recipes in Lothlorien, but your crafter has to be at least friend with the Galadhrim to be able to learn them as well as high enough with the crafting (in this case metalsmith) guild... I believe you actually need to be kindred, but I'm not certain as all of my crafters are kindred with their respective guilds anyway (and only my metalsmith has made it to Lothlorien). They're all guild-type recipes, requiring a large supreme guild item per armor piece, so it can take like 6 weeks just to make a full set.

Same thing for crafted Mirkwood stuff, I believe, both the crafter and the wearer need a minimum level of reputation.

Kinda kills the idea of using alts for crafting, because now they are pretty much stuck at level 58 stuff until they level themselves... which I hate, because with supreme / kindred crafters in all crafts, only one of them is able to make the best crafted stuff... and while I do actually play all of them occasionally, getting 7 toons to 60 just isn't happening any time soon.

Honestly, though, at 61/62, do Moria instances and collect medallions -- the level 60 armor that you can get in trade for them is arguably the best in the game for a champ anyway.

    Ditto to above..

Run the moria instance and trade for moria armor.. even if other champ gear might have a better set bonus, any class will recieve great stats from the moria gear.

I wouldnt both with crafted stuff after lvl 52.. at 55-56 you can start running Grand Stairs and then others to get moria tokens..

There isnt much of a reason not to atleast get some of this.. Its a great balanced gear for all classes. So much so that some of the harder to get armor.. IE helegrod isnt even needed for certain classes.. run the moria group, get the armor and bam.. your good to go for the most part. You can of course go fo others, look for your class stats. I havent maxed a champ yet.. so I dont know what is better for you.

Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

You dont have to step foot into moria.. DO LFF, REGIONAL and /joinchannel glff...

everyone runs these.. GS is the most run.. but you will see forges here and there ect.

Wait till you see it while you are questing, ask if you can join .. you will usually get invited..

5 runs on daily challenge can net you the chest or legs, 2 runs on challenge for the other 2.

Even if you fail and kill the devoted at GS, you still get 4. so just some extra runs. You can get the full set in a few days.

Or mixmatch.. radiance is going away.. some of the Mirkwood and epic 3 armor isnt that bad. I got hidding guard gloves for my LM, its not different in stats than moria gloves except radiance and maybe 1 fate or something. So you can mix match.. get yourself at lease chest/legs and look around in mirk with epic and barter trade for some of the rest.. if you really dont want to group I guess that would be the way to go..

Never sweat the small stuff. Eventually they will need to increase crafted goods to bring those trades in line with the ever increasing levels of the charectors. They can't have crafters stuck on 60 forever.

Now they will learn why they fear the night!
