    Two players looking for Kinship.

We're both adults, and are looking for a Kinship with active and mature players. The ideal Kinship would be mid-sized, and interested in/capable of high level PvE raiding. I'll probably also be looking to do a bit of Free People side PvP when the time comes, so having other PvP players is certainly a plus.

All that said, my current characters are still pretty low level (34 Lore-Master and 24 Rune Keeper - not decided on a main yet), so I won't be "raid ready" for a little while yet. The other player (my dad) that would be looking to join a Kinship with me has a Guardian, Warden, Minstrel, and Captain that are all in the 28-30'ish range, and I'm not sure if he's decided on a main yet either. I think he leans towards the Guardian or Minstrel, but maybe I shouldn't speak for him :-p

While I'm still pretty new to LotRO, I'm not new to the MMO genre. I started off way back with Everquest 1 (shortly after the Velious expansion release), and played it off and on until 2004, when WoW was released. At that point, I switched over to WoW until about December 2009. There were also some brief stints in Anarchy Online and Star Trek Online, but I didn't play either of those games for more than a few months. My only LotRO experience comes from the past ~2 weeks, and a 10 day trial I played when Shadows of Angmar was first released (used my dad's buddy key; he played the game from release until sometime in 2009, and has some high level characters on another server). Still, playing other MMOs extensively in the past makes it pretty easy to grasp everything in LotRO.

I raided quite a lot in both EQ1 (primarily as DPS/Support) and WoW (mostly as Tank, some as DPS), and must say that I hope LotRO raiding has more in common with WoW than it does with EQ. I flatly refuse to ever do another Xegony-type encounter; 30-45 minutes on a single boss fight? Just shoot me instead :-p

Have a look at the Guild. It might be just what you two need.
