    Converting Vocations to add Metalsmith?

I've got a leveled Cook, Tailor, Woodworker, and Jeweler spread over three characters. How useful would it be to convert my Yeoman to an Armorsmith to add heavy armor production? I can train up another cook easily enough.

I only have one character that can use the armor, and one other that will actually use the shields, but the tool crafting seems useful. Is the added functionality useful in the long run, or should I just cook (more) for my AH money?

You can always have your Tinker/Jeweler do the cooking for you. The (current) 'rewards' for being in the Cook guild is not that useful. So yea, I'd recommend switching the Cook (Yeoman?) to Armourer.
