The time has come.

Urika and I have travelled together since Archet, out to seek the evil responsible for the burning of the city that was my home and where my parents live. We have discovered that the villains are a group of Blackrobes - after a ring, or some such - and willing to harm anybody who gets in their way.

Along the way, we picked up Peaberry, Tanano, and Jalla. We tracked the blackrobes to a lair in the Barrow Downs and, with the help of Tom Bombadil, drove him from there. Then we chased them to the Lone Lands and helped Radagast drive Ivar further back. Though Ivar still lives, we have been called to the North Downs - a secret ranger camp called Esteldin - to help stem a Blackrobe-lead incursion into those lands.

Our mission is to bring together a councel of humans, elfs, and dwarfs.

We will meet at Esteldin on Tuesday, February 22nd, at 8:30 PM on the Bywater clock ((Eastern time)) and begin our missions. The five of us will brave the mission ourselves if no help is forthcoming. But help would certainly be welcome. These are challenging adventures.

((OOC: Interested parties are best having just reached Level 30, and thus even with the rest of us. Our rules include: no crafted weapons, armor, or jewelry - only found items are permitted. We walk, and we roleplay along the way. No teleportation - we travel where we need to go. We are characters in a story, bound to that which characters in a story are bound to. Participants will have to be tied to the group - meaning this is best for "alt" characters that do no adventuring outside the group, cept class quests and such as needed.))

There are five of us now, as I said.

Bluejay, whose hometown of Archet was destroyed by bandits not long ago, and who seeks to protect it by dealing a blow to the Blackrobes who, he discovered, were ultimately responsible for the attack.

Jalla the Troll Killer. When the enemies holding weathertop proved too difficult to handle, we travelled to Bree, and there we recruited Jalla to Troll Killer to help us deal with the troll at the top of the mountain.

Tanano, a scout (burglar) leant to us by the Bounders of the Shire.

Urika is a hobbit minstrel who witnessed the attack on Archet when she came to town to look into the welfare of her friend, who had not written in such a long time.

Peaberry the hunter, who wanted nothing more than to leave the small town of Little Delving and see what there is to see over the crest of the next hill and down the next road.

We fear that the missions ahead are particularly dangerous, and we would like nothing more than to have a tad bit more help. If there is any to be had. If you would like to join us, please let me know.
