Not inter-account, but within my own account, is it possible to change whose name is displayed as owner of my house? I decided on a different character as my main, so I'd prefer to show their name instead. Possible, or not supported?
The "owner" of the house is the character that purchased it. They are the only ones that can abandon the house. Their name is the one that shows up on the display. Ownership cannot be changed. Best you can do is to un-check the box in the options to not show the ownership name.

The only way to change the owner is to abandon the house. Have the character that you want to own the house buy the home. You loose the price of the home and the chest activation cost. If you are not careful someone else may buy the home.
