Thread: Won't let me make character

Hey, i literally just joined yesterday but i've played other MMOs before. When i'm on the first screen to make a character, i select the gender and class, but it wont let me click the "next" button. I've tried restarting it but it still doesnt work. Anybody know what do to?

Try restarting using Direct X 9 in your settings instead of DX10. This is a known bug that has affected many people.

how do i get direct x 9 or how do i start it?

idk it wont even give me a log in bar

it wont let me and i just singhed up yesterday any body know how to fix it

If you're getting to the 'create a character' screen, exit from it and select "Options". Under "Graphics", you'll find a setting for "Hardware Acceleration Level". Select DirectX9, then "Apply" the settings and close the client. When you restart, you'll be in DX9 mode.

Umm... dunno what you're talking about here. If you're experiencing the inability to create a character (because it won't let you select a race), follow the above steps. If it's something else, can you please explain in more detail?
