    User Chat Issues - GLFF

    Hello there!

I seem to be having an issue with the GLFF channel. It appears I can type to the channel (I can see what I type), but cannot see anything that anyone else says within the channel.

    I've enabled all the filters.
I've left/rejoined the channel on all characters.
    I've logged out/logged in/restarted game.
    Other chat channels work.
/listchannels show that I'm connected to the channel. (uc2: 'glff')
When I type in the channel everyone can see it (I've asked them to message me if they see it)
Chat logging doesn't pick it up.

Has anyone had any troubles with this as well? I was told by one player that it could be a bug with other characters that may have it disabled, but I've logged on what I could, and they all have it enabled.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I seem to recall that if you have the same user-created channel enabled on more than one character that they have to have it as the same User channel. So all characters have to have it as User1, or all as User2, etc. This was from when the User channels were first added, and I don't know if it's still that way.

Try leaving all User channels on all characters first. Then add in the channel(s) on one character to see if it will work. If it does, then add the same channels in the same order to the other characters one at a time and check each.

I have this issue as well on one of my accounts. I've left GLFF on all of my toons and then rejoined so they're all in the same channel. I've checked the filters. Other private channels still work.

    Hullo!
I'm having the very same issue as Nethedrith describes.
I looked up the issue up on turbine-support and read about a way to solve it.
I did everything it told me to do, and still, I cant read any messages on my servers globallff-channel.

More exactly have I logged each single character, removed all user-made chats, defaulted all chat options, closed all none-default-chat tabs.

There is a possibility that I forgot a important step on one of my characters as I got quite many of them, but I've checked them twice! Redo the whole process again is not very tempting.

I've allready spent many hours on trying to solve this and it is starting to get kind of frustrating, is there an other way to solve this?

If the issue lies on one single character, is there a way to see which one so I dont have to logg them all again?

And most importantly, whats cuasing it? I dont want it to happen again, as its very time consuming.

This has happend to me one time before, but that time, I managed to solve it by doing the same as I mentioned above. Why its not working this time is beyond me.

I would be most grateful if anyone are able to help me with this
