Thread: Cannot access My Characters Setting

I am having a lot of issues with My Characters Setting. It messes up my My.lotro Homepage. I cannot change my main, as I cannot access My Profile. Help!

Get errors as well.

I called Turbine Account Support last Friday, 2/9/2011 and was told to submit a support ticket with a different help division. A week and I still haven't heard back. This affects all sorts of things, including my access to Bullroarer. I can post a blog, but no one can see it, because they cannot look at my profile. It is obviously a database error, because I can my kin mates do not share the issue. Help!

I'm having the same problem. I keep getting an error whenever I try to access my settings.

Heh, I haven't been able to access my character settings since the Forum's revamp around F2P. I bugged it and never got a reply/fix.

So, would you be able to fix mine too please?

You will not see your characters for a while (likely a few weeks) until the migration is sorted out.

I am new here, cause of this, I don't have any information regarding this thread.

So its not the worst case, nothing works

*peeps head from around the corner* - seems i'm having the same problems too. My character setting are not showing any of my characters. I would also like to use one of those new shinny signatures for my posts too

No newly created or migrated characters will appear on myLOTRO for a few more weeks until that service is tested and restarted. I imagine the same thing applies to the data used for the character signatures.

You should be all set now.

Is this something you're turning on one-by-one, should be enabled by default and some people are bugged, or are we still waiting for the final turn-on?

In all situations my account shows no available characters.

I'm having the same issue.
I hope you can fix it.

If the page comes up without saying "Error", then you will have to wait for your characters to be scraped. All character scraping is currently off while the EU migration stabilizes.

I'm still with the same error when i try to access My Characters Settings page:

Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Plus, i have deleted characters (from months ago) showing on the bottle of My Forum Settings page

I'm not sure if my error is the same you mentioned in this thread or if I just have to wait a bit more:

Have a migrated EU-Account
For about a week or so whenever I try to visit "My Character Settings" I get an error:

Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Happened shortly after all my chars were being shown in the Character Settings but some data was still missing.

I'm getting that ERROR stuff as well, can you fix me too please? ^^

Same problem for me. A fix would be greatly appreciated.

Please excuse my answering your posting as a way to reply to this thread, but the regular reply button did not work for me.
I too get the error message about a continual loop (albeit in Dutch, as I live in Holland) and I cannot access my Blog.

I'm an optimist, so I keep on trying - sure hope this gets repaired soon.
