Hey LOTRO players! Are you looking for a fun, casual, mature kinship to enhance your gaming experience? Well look no further! The Guild is still recruiting great players of all levels! We just had our second official Guild Party at our beautiful Kinship house located at 1 High Road, in Burrstow (Bree), a great time was had by all! We still have lots of room for more friendly players to join us in our quest for fun!
Do you love the lore of LOTRO? Do you enjoy the journey through the game? Do you like active chat? Are you willing to help others as much as they help you? If you are a mature individual that is looking for like-minded players then I encourage you to check out our website and sign up for our forums. If you like what you see then you can apply right there or look up one of our officers in-game. (Man, Agram, Darkreign, Haft, Frances, Randomus, Palenen, Nele, Cyraith, Faelrod or Meschwyn)
How do you feel about probationary periods for new inductees to determine if the kinship is for them? Hard to be gung-ho for a kinship without seeing first hand how it operates for a bit, you know? Just thinking ahead. I don't want to join and then make enemies if I leave because I don't fit in or play when no one else is online, not that that's an intention going in.
Hello Ekleipsis,
If you have researched our kin and determined that a casual playstyle with mature players matches your own playstyle and attitude, there should be no worries about finding a home here. With that said, we don't hold anyone's feet to the fire. Every kin has players come and go all the time and it will forever be so.
We would like to be a place where you look forward to logging in to say hi to friends, to get some crafting done, to get help with some solo quests or help someone else with theirs. A place where you can expect to form a group at scheduled (and even unscheduled) times to do end-game content. And just generally experience the whole game on your timetable and not someone else's.
If you're the type of person that likes to help others as well as have others join you on your adventures you won't have any reason to need a probationary period
I saw your app this afternoon on our website and everything looks good. If you are online this evening expect a tell from one of our Officers. See you in game!
I'm very interested in your Guild, however I'm a fresh noob to this game and I have just started to play. I catch on pretty quick though and I play just about every day so if you don't mind having another lower level player in your guild I would be interested in joining.
I went ahead and filled out an application on the website so I guess I should just wait for a reply to that yea?
Hey Stabbea, we'd be glad to have you. Thanks for posting an application on the website...we'll look for you in-game

If you are looking for a Guild that is centered around having a good time rather than seeing how fast you can level, take a look at The Guild. Mature players (state of mind not age) of all levels welcome.
Hey folks,
I just wanted to post saying you were a good group the one time I did fellow with you. Though I am currently in a kinship, I will personally vouch for The Guild as a good group of people to play with.
I put my application in and you accepted it. So, when can I expect to hear something in-game? Just curious. No rush.
I was hoping to catch up with you this weekend, but dark forces (aka - my wife) kept me busy most of the weekend. I'll keep an eye out for you this week and we'll get you on board. Thanks for being patient with us
New to LOTRO and need help, or maybe you are an old timer tired of the grind to see who can level the fastest? Take a look at The Guild. http://theguildriddermark.guildlaunch.com/
Just applied on the site. The Guild sounds like just the kind of kin I am looking for. I'm a casual player, and fairly new to the game, and a lot of kins aren't as friendly to new players. I love crafting in the game, so I would be glad to help out any lower level members. in game name is Durkil, Level 22 Dwarf guardian. armorer by trade.
We have activities at all levels of the game -- from alts and true-new players grouping at 20 to several at 65 running instances and (with our alliance partners) raids. If you are looking for a kin and over 18 (or even just act like it) don't be shy! Give us a look!
Whats your kinship end-game look like? PvMP? Raids?
Our end-game is mostly PvE instances and raids. Some folks like to head out to the Moors and do PvMP, and that is great, but it is not currently a focus.
We currently have about a dozen 65s online regularly, with about half pretty well geared. We can certainly tackle most instances of fellowship or less, and, with our alliance partners, do weekly raids.
We are not a kinship defined by the end game, though. If someone is looking to be the best geared on the server, that is an admirable goal, but we are too casual to accomplish that goal.
I can certainly speak for these guys, for whatever that might be worth.
I've had a chance to pug a few things with some members from The Guild on occasion and have always found them to be friendly and helpful. They've done a really good job and are a fine representative of kinships here on the Mark.
Hey there!
My name is Malaria (Skyler) and i was looking to join you guys! You all seem like a fairly down to earth group of individuals. I play a lot at night and i live in california... So my general time that i play is around... 8pm to about midnight. Depending on what i'm doing that night... training, doing some art, partying, or working, will depend on how long i stay on. But, i try to get on for atleast 30mins a night...
Anyways, i made an account on the guildsite. and awaiting to get the ability to post!
Let me know what i need to do!
Thanks, looking forward to meeting all of you... and the rest of RIDDERMARK!
New to the game and looking for a kinship? An old timer tied of the grind and looking for friends to just have fun with?
Take a look at The Guild. http://theguildriddermark.guildlaunch.com/ We could be just what you are looking for and we are always looking for quality players.
I've been a Guild member for most of the year, and I've been playing Lotro since just after f2p. I was reluctant to join a kin at all when I started playing, because in the past I was a hardcore player of other MMOs and I just don't have the time to dedicate to the game anymore. I joined The Guild because of its advertised casual nature, and I've been very happy here ever since.
More recently, The Guild is taking on more frequent raiding activities, and doing it very successfully. There are a core component of more hardcore players, however there is absolutely zero level of "class warfare" between the more hardcore and the more casual players. Attitude is 100% casual, and casual players like myself are frequently asked to join events -- and when I must decline, my response is perfectly respected. Of course when I'm able to say "heck yeah, I'm there!", it's an awesome time!
The Guild has plenty of knowledgeable and helpful members that are always willing to assist. If you're in need of a kin, or just wanting to check one out to see what it's like, The Guild is definitely worth a look.
I put in an app on the website and haven't heard anything as of yet. Whom may I contact for an invite since it seems the people list on the first page haven't played in awhile or I am on at the wrong time of day to see them on.
