That is my problem with Weeds, the seasons have progressively gotten worse... she doesnt even sell weed anymore, shes just a Stupid wh*re and a bad mother. They say season 7 is going to be the last one. I hope they take it back to basics. Also had the same issue with Scrubs, but I did finally give up on it when the original cast left. Once they had a whole new set of people as the main characters I just stopped sitting through the episodes.

WTH is up with this Jersey Shore fixation?

And man, BSG? If I wanted to see bad storyline and terrible acting I would just watch p*rn.

if my memory is straight, season 2 has alot of conflict with the scilons and that was cool and then season 3 gradually became more about conflict on the ship and what not, theres just some completely dud episodes that ruin it when you watch it once a week and it was friday night at that, watching it on dvd could be a whole different experience

Going to answer both of you in one post. In no specific order. Just whatever comes to mind.

1. I'm a sci fi fanatic. Read all of Heinleins, Asimovs, Herberts, Dicks works. Not to mention countless others. So BSG is up there due to it's intensity and desperate feel. I haven't ever seen a show do that and believe you me, I've watched a **** ton of shows. I don't notice the bad acting some people complain about. Some of it is a bit lackluster at the start but once the characters get fleshed out it's good.

2. Yeah, we'll see. Maybe I'll hate it too. Shrug I've sat through all of Lost for whatever reason. I started to hate the show around season 4.

3a. Yeah, everyone has always told me to check out weeds. Shrug, haven't gotten around to it. Maybe I never will.

3b. Entourage is in the same boat. Great show at the start, they just took it way too far and I just gave up.

3c. Chuck is approaching that stage atm if it's not already past it. I used to watch that show and during the theme song I'd get so freakin giddy it was weird. Now...I'm like meh, just another show I'm watching because I already know the story and might as well finish it.

4. I stopped watching scrubs around season 7. I loved the show but something felt off past that point. I still own all 6 seasons and randomly watch some of them.

5. I don't see how someone could say BSG has a bad storyline unless they're referring to the 70s version =X. Then again, different tastes for different mules. Yes, I changed it. Deal with it.

6. Jersey Shore is possibly the dumbest thing that has ever hit TV. Reason some people are obsessed with it is because they live in Australia and have nothing better to do. Or suffer from some kind of mental...disability. And by disability I of course mean the "special gene." Kind of like the X-Men! You guys are the next version of humans! JERSAPSHORIANS!

Worst part is that people actually believe Jersey Shore is real. From the **** I hear them pull off it sounds just like any other MTV TV show ever. Totally over-budgetted and set up from action to cut.

I used to like the show Viva La Bam because I thought it was so sporadic and spontaneous and funny.
A few seasons into the show I was out snowboarding at the local mountain crash "Bear Creek" in eastern PA where I spent every single winter day of my childhood. I was working in the rental shop and I was about to get off work and go boarding when I heard Bam Margera and his whole crew of ruffians were there.

I thought Bam was the coolest cause he was the only pro skater to really make it big as a celebrity rather than just a skateboarder. For a teenage thrasher he was an Icon. So I skipped off the rest of my shift, laced up my boots and hit the hills. Rumor was they were filming an episode of Viva La Bam on the mountain. I ditched the next two days of school claiming I was sick and hitching a ride 30 miles to the mountain the second my dad left for work. I watched that episode being filmed from start to finish and It was the biggest let down you could imagine.

Every single thing was staged. There was a "surprise" concert that took over 8 hours to set up. The concert consisted of the band "Clutch" playing one song ("21 guns") 4 times over and over so that the crew could get different camera angles. Then near the end of the song Bam started an "Impromptu" snowball fight which was also repeated and refilmed 4 times.

The only thing that was natural the whole time was that Bam Margera was a complete *****. Each day they came down from the resort and had their TV show base camp set up in the 5 star resturaunt "The Grille" I sat outside every morning while they all assembled and got ready to film. Every one of his crew came and sat with me and talked with me as they waited for Bam to show up, asking me why I wasnt in school, just shooting the ****, Brandon Dicamilo, Ryan dunn, Even the drunk *** Chris Rabb, he was hilarious. They bought me breakfast each day from the eatery and when they came back in for lunch bought me chicken fingers, and Brandon Dic even smoked a fatty with me on the chair lift. When Bam came down he didnt look at me, He was rude to all his fans, refused autographs, and was perpetually hung-over or drunk.

When the episode aired, none of the potentially funny things that actually sporadicly and spontaneously happened made it into the show. The funniest part (chris rab standing naked in the middle of a tube lane while Brandon Dic tubed down into him, full speed, flipping him over into the snow, then as he was getting on his hands and knees to stand up, Ryan dunn and Tim Glomb chain tubed down and hit him sending him about 40 feet causing him to get medic boarded out) got left on the cutting room floor.

I hope you guys enjoyed reading about the last time I ever turned on MTV.

As far as Jshore being fake. I hate to break it to you, but people like that do exist...I grew up with some of them. It's part of the reason I don't watch the show. I don't find it funny. I find it depressing and it makes me hate humanity even more.

There are really people like that, however half the people on Jshore are not even from New Jersey.

I agree that there are abominations as such but what I'm saying is that A) as dwalin said, most aren't even native B) they represent the absolute worst of the nations skum C) 9/10 situations and plot developements on the show are just that, plot developements or real events

I actually saw a car pass me a few months back and the system was bumpin some familliar song, I rolled my window down and it was antoine dodson. LMAO

It was like number one R&B song on Itunes for a while, amazing.
