The only reason I became a scholar was because I wanted to make my own (black) dye. I had no idea that it was going to be difficult to get the ingredients. I'm a T6 scholar and I'm kindred with the scholars guild. I have the improved black dye recipe but I need pile of ancient iron oxide to make the dye. I need someone to provide those for me.
Now I also have no idea how difficult it is to mine ancient iron but I want to work out a deal with a strong enough/high enough level crafter. I was originally thinking that for every 5 black dyes I make, I'll give you two. I can make you some other colors if you want. Or I can make almost anything a scholar can. Paying in silver might be a little difficult because it takes money to buy the rest of the ingredients needed (dye salt, vials, water) and I already use my money to buy ingredients anyhow.
Any takers out there? We can negotiate the "price" if you think it costs more than a few bottles of dye and other miscellaneous scholar made stuff to pay for the oxides.
Hm, my bad, didn't know the forums were divided by server.

Where are the server forums?
There is a link to "Forum List" in the above link bar, that will take you to the main page where you can scroll down and find the right server. You want to post in the trade sub forum.
or
You can use the "Worlds" drop down and pick your server and navigate to the trade forum for that server.
Black dyes sell well (well they did before the new colours anyway, not sure if they've waned a bit or not, now) So anyway you should be good to buy the oxides after a few batches. Personally I'd create an alt with Exploring as a vocation so you can (eventually) get 'em yourself. They're a bit rare, not terribly, but still. Anyway, good luck whatever you choose, just figured I'd add my two cents
