I'm looking to try to update my pvp armor, weapons, bag and virtues, but I'm having difficulty determining what to get. I'm would like to increase my dps and survivability. On 1v1 it takes forever to take the creep down (seems I never get crits). In larger groups, I'm the one being focus fired and can't stay alive all that long.
The following is the gear I have:
Armor/Jewlery:
Chest - Jacket of the Silent Knife
Hands - Gauntlets of the Silent Knife
Legs - Leggins of the Silent Knife
Head - Shadow-stalker Helm
Shoulders - Dungeon-crawler's Shoulders
Back - Cloak of Greyhammer
Feet - Raddir's Medium Books (for speed buff)
Earring - Tolloch
Earring - Glowing Aureate Hoop of Combat
Neck - Chiseled Bone Necklace
Pocket - Symbol of Wisdom
Wrist - Warrior's Greenwood Bracelet
Wrist - Tribute of Nykr
Ring - Glowing Aureate Band of Morale
Ring - Toringor
For the weapon/bag I was wondering what the best legacies to have are. The following are my list of 'required' legacies for each:
Weapon:
trick range
critical response skill damage
bleed stack chance
Bag:
stealth speed
off hand crit chance
Some additional ones I was considering were:
Weapon:
Bleed damage multiplier
Subtle stab critical multiplier
Bag:
Healing mischievous glee
As for virtues, I am using the following:
Valor
Loyalty
Justice
Innocence
Empathy
I'm using most of these because they are my highest virtues currently. Any suggestions on ones I should grind out?
Any information to improve survivability/dps would be greatly appreciated. Thanks =).
My build works pretty good for me. (not sure if it's updated exactly as I wear it, so I'll list below)
-Virtues: Valour, Justice, Determination, Fidelity, and either Discipline or Innocence (depending on whether you want a bit more Might than Melee Defence)
-Class-traits, I typically run Silent Knife.
-I also sub-in Hammer-Mark Cloak (for Stealth Level and Detection), Horta (neck with +8% run speed), and Miner's Charm (for more Stealth Level). I also find time to sub in either the Robe of the 'Moors or Amber Ring 5 minutes before I go out to the 'moors for the +30 Vit buff.
It's based primarily on solo survival, and being heavily focus fired upon. The 3 heal-proc items add up very easily, and the mid-high fate helps raise my ICMR fairly high, which helps for during fights, or when I have to hips with massive DoT's applied to me.
My DPS suffers a bit with low Might, but I don't do many 1v1's unless I get the jump on my opponent. I typically use a burgs strengths by waiting until opponents get below 3k morale to engage them with Aim+LiE+SS/CA. Some of the gear choices can be swapped for more Might, but you will typically lose Fate/ICMR/Heals for the change, so you have to find a happy medium in regards to those.
Just remember that if you get heavy focus fire on you (i.e. a raid, or high ranked group), no set of gear will help you live very long through it, so I would advise knowing your surroundings early, and HIPSing earlier than normal, as necessary.
Enjoy, and good luck.

My opponents need not fear me; they simply need to get used to returning from the rez circle.
Many PvPers on E are "WTB Brilliant Spirit Stones", in anticipation of the next sets of PvP gear. They seem to have high confidence that it will be pretty good.
Duvi Vastin: "But whenever we take feedback on most game systems, such as character builds, economics, or especially anything to do with PvP, then we are forced to read very carefully between the lines of any and all player feedback, as it is all inevitably skewed by self-investment, self-interest, and a deeply subjective viewpoint that increases in direct proportion to how long or successfully a player has occupied a particular role."
